Our companion appeared just fine on the way here. If she is not feeling well and not up for a job which not one of us have agreed to partake in yet I would like to hear her reasons from her own mouth. Our Elf companion is a pretty capable healer, perhaps he may even be of assistance.

It may not be the most riveting contest of strength, but it ends when Tanzime collapses to the ground. "You don't understand!" he mutters as he tries to collect himself.

The remaining crowd has taken interest in your struggle, however, and they approach as you enter the backroom.

You see Ashlyn on the ground in a corner of the backroom, manacles around her wrists. The bodyguard is holding a sword out at you. "Let's be reasonable here. Let us walk away and we will give you your creature back."

Julian approaches Dizilpaan. "Don't do anything stupid. The crowd behind me is on our side. You're not walking away from here if you attack."

[Nexus]

"Unmanacle her now."

The guard shakes his head. "She needs to be contained. She is a danger to you and to others. Get your friends away from Tanzime and I will let her go." The guard is clearly panicking a little.

Cast Thaumaturgy

Aulric's eyes begin to darken as he looks more and more angry. "Let her go," he snarls.

"Let Tazime walk out of here first, then I will let her go."

[Nexus]

"I don't care about Tazime. I'm going to do what they asked, but I need my colleague to help me. Let her go. Now."

[Save The Dragons]

Spoiler:

The bodyguard looks at you, then the door, then at Ashlyn. He tosses you the keys but keeps his sword pointed at you. "Let me go protect Tazime, and you can release your friend. Then leave. Get out of here and don't come back. Okay?"

[Nexus]

"Whatever."

Aulric undoes the manacles.

The guard rushes out of the room to protect Tazime. "Get out. All of you, get out," he commands.

Dizilpaan raises his hands to keep them in view of the guard.

"We really aren't here to cause any trouble despite what it may look like. We will take our companion and our leave promptly and with no trouble if you will allow us."

Thwick has remained in the back of room up until now, keeping an eye on the proceedings but not overtly making it clear he is a member of the group. He stretches out his arms and uses his body language to try to direct the crowd towards the exit.

"All of you, get out. All of you, get out. All of you, get out." he says.

The crowd slowly shuffles out. Presumably, Aulric brings Ashlyn from the back room while the Tazime trades places with them and retreats to the back (but let me know if you want to do it differently).

In the ruckus, some of you might see Cael leaving the temple.

Apparently Ashlyn took this oppertunity to take a nap. She hasn't gotten much sleep, apparently.

Dizilpaan goes to Ashlyn and tries to check on her trying to make sure she is breathing and not obviously injured. Dizilpaan turns to Auric.

"Let's get her out of here, along with... well... ourselves."

Dizilpaan attempts to help carry Ashlyn

"I suppose now we should report to Bramley. And maybe take Ashlyn somewhere she can sleep comfortably." Dizilpaan suggests this to the group members around him, making sure to be out of earshot of anyone else who may be lingering outside.

apologies, was away on vacation. i'd like to keep going with this if people are willing, but i was also hoping/waiting for more discussion of what to do. Do you guys want to seek out Bramley or do something else?
