Round 2 Begins

This is lendun here, reporting for the Superhero News Network. The fight that broke out at the expo is currently still ongoing and our crew has retreated to a safe distance from the arena. As always, we're here to broadcast the latest details.

Mallowgeno appears to be having a rough time: both NotAJumbleOfNumbers and NDMath are throwing heavy punches at them! Seemingly unable to activate their force field, mallowgeno simply isn't able to withstand the attacks.

Ircher isn't sitting back; he throws a heavy punch at NDMath and also attacks NotAJumbleOfNumbers on the side. He receives a meaningless, perhaps deliberate attack from NDMath (which is dodged) and then withstands the full force of mallowgeno! Ircher lives for now, although he's on his last legs.

NotAJumbleOfNumbers receives a small attack from Ircher and then throws his full force at mallowgeno.

NDMath does receive a rather large punch from Ircher, but his defense mostly negates it.

Well, this has been an interesting fight so far; with one contestant dead and another on his last legs, what can happen? We'll be here to broadcast the details as always. This is lendun on behalf of the Superhero News Network, signing off.

Hi, unnamed narrator here. The Superhero News Network has now retreated due to the fight being too dangerous to film.

Some small attacks here and there; nothing special.



Wait, what's this... NDMath is taking out some strange looking device! And he's pouring tons and tons of energy into it! What could this be...



A blinding light comes out from the arena! When it subsides, the amount of contestants has changed... NDMath has appeared to create two clones; htamDN and MathND! They seem identical to their master in every sense of the word, but how well they'll perform is yet to be seen...

NDMath has won the auction for the Delayed Triplicate and has created two clones of himself!

NotAJumbleOfNumbers still possesses the Barnacle.

The fight ends on an expected note. NDMath, after having created two clones of himself, was so powerful that the two remaining contestants opted to save their own lives and concede. It is currently unknown whether the expo will be held again.

Ircher and NotAJumbleOfNumbers have conceded. NDMath wins!

would prehistoric rumble be interesting?

some other themes I thought of:
future
spaceship (each power has a condition meter, which is used as energy for that power. you have to destroy every power before being able to kill the player by destroying the hull. probably way too slow to be fun though)
megarumble (10 players. probably hell to moderate AND play)

I'm kinda confused why nobody else bid near what delayed triplicate is worth.

This is just my opinion, but I thought Delayed Triplicate and Freed from Reality were meh powers because of how strong they were and people not really being willing to bid as much as they're worth, and that in this game Mindful Rest was an awful power because it's clearly useless except in combination with Freed from Reality in which case it's very powerful.

I agree that spaceship sounds slow, the rest all sound fine.

I guess that's just what happens when you throw in a bunch of really powerful powers into a group that was trained to always bid low (with the exception of Jake). You end up undershooting, for once. I mean, for crying out loud nobody except Jake bid on Flight, and it's not even a scaling power!

Yeah there only be one flight bid was surprising. I didn't bid on it since I thought it would make the player a bigger target than it benefited & it would probably be difficult to use right.

You'd be surprised at how weak powers are. Most powers just put a target on your back more than anything.
