Statistically speaking out of any sample of four players there’s a chance one of them is scum.

So outta me, Draynth, Ircher and FChariot my money would be on the last two.

Everyone has a 2/9 chance of being scum. Just because you are choosing a subset of the player list doesn't mean the probability for any individual goes up (or down).

It also doesn’t mean one of us four isn’t scum. We have all the exact same probability and from my standpoint (and yours presumably) I only have to sort the three of you for now.

I’m picking the three from my wagon and adding myself to make four. I didn’t mention Draynth because their vote is most neutral out of the bunch.

Why Draynth?

Well if my maths are right, Draynth is a few hours away from a prod, Stan1ey too. I accept OnlyIAmMe and Iconeum were listed as VLA from the start of the game.

A greater contribution during RVS would have been very welcome. Draynth is on the wagon (but it wasn't a wagon on lefty when he was on, his was the first vote).

If you're not going to help the town then...

I accept we've just come out of the weekend, everyone has lives etc, but conversely it could be lurking.

I'm comfortable in my non-RVS vote of Draynth for now.

Concrete? No not really. Still finding my feet a bit round here. I had a day off yesterday but will be having a thorough read today and posting some more detailed thoughts later.

Then I started to suspect he could actually be scum, so I checked his other threads (newbie games only). There was a tendency when starting with a town role to be inactive for a day or two at the start. That said, there weren't many of his newbie games we he started as mafia, the two or three that I found he had replaced in, so it was hard to tell how Draynth acts in RVS as scum.

I don't have a better read than Draynth right now, but my vote is based on instinct rather than firm scumtells. I may change it if there are developments during the day.

Just a general Q - outside of the IC and SEs who obviously have played here a bit, what is everyone else’s experience level?

This is my first game. Played a variant of this at school (Shut your eyes, narrator taps you on the shoulder if you're mafia type thing) and a friend introduced me to the site a month or so ago. The stuff we played was nowhere near as detailed or as analytical as mafiascum. Read a lot of games, read a lot of the theory and had some time freed up due to a change in my personal life so felt like a good time to get involved.

Pretty much all of your newbie games. A very light skim, I only checked your role and worked through RVS. I didn't read anything that wasn't newbie.
