If we just go stringing people up without talking about it we'll likely learn little today, and then are in a situation on day 2 where the only info we have to go on will be a night kill. I've gathered from reading a few games in the past that that's not an ideal situation. And at this point in the game he's (statistically) more likely to be town than scum.

All he's really done so far is cast an OMGUS vote in what would generally be the random vote stage. So, that's pretty much as much of a null read as I can get from someone who's posting.

You, however have failed to answer three of us who have asked you to explain any reasons you had behind your "not random" vote. So until you start talking about that,

Or rather, do you think it's always in the towns best interest to have full information reveal?

It would seem to me that if you have any reason to believe someone is scum, you should should share them with the town, for two main reasons

1) convince other townies of your case, perhaps you saw/know something the rest of us don't.

2) provide the person you're voting for something to defend themselves against.

If you were a cop with a guilty result on him, that would be one reason not to share, but unless I'm mistaken this game was a day start, so I don't believe that's a possibility yet.

But, you're the IC and I'm the newb, so would you care to explain why you don't want to share your reasoning? Why a non random, but unexplained vote is pro-town?

You're assuming my vote has something to do with this game, and thats your first mistake.

But answer my first question. Do you think there are ever times where its a good reason to not share any information other than if I'm a cop?

Specious, aka, you're arguing something that is expedient. You're arguing that me and mirth are scum because we're playing the game, essentially. There's no reason to think that your argument is incorrect, aka there are no facts that falsify your theory, but there are also no facts that support it anyway.

It's like me saying "Zeal is scum buddies with Kristopf because he hasn't voted him."

Or, to use an example from the simpsons:

You are not thinking outside the box enough. It is possible that my vote for Mirth was for a different purpose than lynching scum, and is thus not random.

Can you think of any such purposes which are pro town?

I still see no way in which your actions so far in this game benefit the town. No one else seems willing or able to explain. You and Mirth have played together before, but YOU are the one who seems to be the troublemaker here.

You are making a poor assumption here. I am not voting mirth because I've played with her before. I don't even recall having played with her before. I may have, but I dont remember.

The vote has nothing to do with any past game. It has to do with this game, but not the play within this game, if that makes any sense.
