Because I have a long meta history of being confident in my reads. That’s actually one of the reasons I quit playing mafia. I probably have 50+ games over my different accounts where I’ve been confident early game and refuse to look elsewhere.

It’s like the old 3rd person on a wagon is scum. Somebody compiled data to skew that into some sort of tell and people guy mislynched cause of it.
If we’re in a newbie game we should be showing newbies how to actually play mafia and not just dial it in.
If you actually want to use scum hunting, that points to otter most likely being scum.

I am completely aware of that. That’s why I’m trying to get people to actually scum hunt.In post 174, zeebu wrote:realize this is a newbie game full of people trying the site for the first time.
Vote parking on an inactive player because they said hello to everyone is seriously the laziest way to play. As an experienced player I’m supposed to at least encourage newbies to play.
The other two experienced players should be doing the same,’however they are advocating lazy play.
They are teaching bad habits.
Sorry if I come off as a jerk but I’m trying to get the new players to actually try to scum hunt and not rely on unreliable tells.
Blatantly accusing someone of something that isn’t true is a huge red flag.
Intentionally misrepping somebody is also.
I could probably add more stuff that otter has done but I’m clearly wasting my breath.
I’ll sit back and see how laziness works out. If you can’t beat them, join them right?

No I don’t. None of this discussion these last two/three pages have been useful at all. All I see is people advocating lazy play and others advocating against it.
I see no genuine scum hunting and the only one who really was doing any has stopped and is agitated.
This game HAS stalled. We’re waiting for pema to post and arguing because nobody wants to actually scum hunt. We’ve wasted 3 days. We only get like 10.
I just think it could be spent in a way to actually help town win and teach new players how to play.
I assume both scum are on pena because imo only scum would be ok with the current game state.
