I think that i found the key to be townreaded. It is all about typing a lot of long posts. Everyone, who does that gets townreaded and small posters are being suspected. Artificial posts are completely underwhelming, he just follows some trends and makes them look long. What is the most important is his submissive behavior. You know it is not always possible to determine person alignment. Inactive slots aside of not giving advice can't be identified. You can't tell whenever someone is scum, if they dont post but you can still flip them! Once it dies, you will see other people reactions and gather data. umlaut seems pretty universally townread and he's obviously putting a lot of effort into the game. his thoughts seem fine, generally. idk. i don't have a deep read on him yet.

JK needs to reveal, who is the confirmed person from n2. If they die without it then we lost an IC. Person which is going to be jailed tomorrow will be both blocked and protected. If JK is being revealed then kill has to be pointed at them and lack of kill has to be caused by block rather then heal, which proves that lack of kill was a block (jailed p wouldn't be attacked) and blocked person should be guilty.
The only merit of not revealing JK is possibility of VT death but in that case JK can be counterclaimed by scum tomorrow. If JK is towny then he has no chance to survive, if not then scum may beat them.

The fact that he cc tracker suggested that he is the real tracker (JK can coexist with tracker, so CC was not valid from that) and his jk claim was a lie. Then if that he calls you PR even that you made no slip means that he saw your visit => you are the real JK. I guess he hoped for scum to deduct in this way and kill you. I meant to continue with: the main reservation I have with the worst is that there was some jumping back and forth. They were playing with the Umlaut slot rather than truly pushing it. Now, they seemed to catch that they were making that mistake later on, but that speaks poorly of the slot nevertheless. It’s quite possible the worst didn’t realize they had cornered themselves into destroying their partner with the type of distancing they used.

I think Ivyeo is meatless. If that’s just how they’re going to play this game, it has scum stink and I won’t tolerate it. If they’re town, they need to add meat and become sortable.

Willow is suspect but I find that low energy slots are easy miseliminations for scum to push, so I want to draw out more interaction before we start the whole “drag ‘em to the gallows boys” thing. I’m not sold entirely on that slot as scum, but it is FAR from town play. So. I want Willowsaura to start playing... now. Immediately. Without delay. They are purely a detriment to town no matter their alignment if they play like this, and that cannot get to Melo or Elo. It is worse than me and Kerset in endgame to take that kind of energy to the final round.

If you really want my thoughts on Kerset: scum, scum, scum. Yes, they spearheaded a push on me, in order to Big Damn Heroes Ivyeo out from under pressure when no one was pressing that slot BUT me. Then they spin doctored half of my responses into some sort of pro-scum play that didn’t exist, nightfall hits, and Day 2 they’re pleasant and trying to work with me.



Follow with me here the logic:
In one world, Kerset is Town and they strongly believed in red-flip Sirius and me being an associative read DESPITE my willingness to eliminate on that slot. This smells, since I had just replaced in and their very first interaction with me was to remove pressure from Ivyeo.

In another world, Kerset is Scum. In this world, they saw me come in on a low-impact player that made zero-controversy contributions. This gives them a chance to pocket Ivyeo, and sets me up as weak to a last minute push in case Sirius weaseled out (which was impossible at that stage from a town POV). Come Day 2, they decide they can swap playstyle with me, pocket me AND Ivyeo, and coast to endgame. My rejection of any implicit offers of friendship does break this down, but it’s a plausible play.

In a THIRD world, Kerset is Scum still. But in this world Ivyeo is the scumbuddy, and this was a Chainsaw Defense par excellence to save a weak but easy-to-townread scumbuddy from pressure. By redirecting that pressure onto a stronger, more experienced player who is more active and much more comfortable with aggressive play, Ivyeo gets time to choose their response and shape the outcome of that conversation that would be impossible if the focus was still Me vs Ivyeo. Day 2 positivity toward me indicates following Dongempire’s associative Sirius read to reduce pressure on Kerset as well, returning both Ivyeo and Kerset to basic status quo and causing attention to direct elsewhere. This narrative spins the most likely to me: no plot holes.

But as I said before, I am not in reality when it comes to Kerset.

For some reason i took this as tracker crumb about me being targeted on n1. One world - i am town PR, Second - scum PR, Third - kill maker. Also between lines there was a suggestion that i might be doctor.

Umlaut isn't newbie and he probably gave some sort of suggestions via scum PT. The most likely scenario is clark trying to derail the wagon by pushing ivy. Perhaps shelly is scum and decided that this situation is hopeless.

As town you would read this game and look for clues to find scum. As scum you would most likely just look at trends and seek for lynchable targets.

I reached a similar conclusion about her potent disdain for the idea of trying to jailkeep scum; it literally (in a quantitative way) benefits scum but I don't necessarily think she's scum for suggesting it.

It does feel like she still has something to prove though and I'm not convinced that her attempts to further sort players today are actually town motivated. They feel a bit flashy but also quite underwhelming

Bluffing aside, this is ridiculous. This is 3rd time Mush acts strange in favor of her potential scummy wincon. First hopes to keep claim hiden, second time she wishes to have better opponent for mylo, now tries to avoid being jailed for random excuse.

I had suspicions on two slots, Umlaut and Ivy. I pushed Ivy on a point that concerned me and engaged with her because I needed to feel her out. She responded well enough. More importantly, I had in my head that if I voted Ivy and Umlaut came in and took that second position on the wagon, that he was likely scum. I voted, he did exactly what I suspected, and I voted him. I explained what I was doing in real time. I explained it to Ivy at the time. I was explicit.

I don't dig the Umlaut wagon. I don't have a hard town-read on him necessarily, but the fluff posting accusation just seems a little lazy. His activity has been low, as has been mine. Not really AI, especially considering a holiday weekend dominated the first few days of this phase. He's placed a vote and asked others why they didn't vote in kind despite sharing some similar reservations about the slot. Is there something stronger in the mix? What "stand" has Umlaut not taken that others have? Anyways, I like how Umlaut tried to examine the Sirius wagon. I also like (though it's not too AI) that he provided an invitation and links for others analyze his own stance on it.

Willow and tiramisu made 15 posts in total. They were basically inactive for first two days.

The problem is, it wasn't that hard to notice her scumness. We were just really dumb for not paying attention to red flags. We played it in lazy way, instead of testing clark we just accused him and locked in scumpool. Ivy is a shy newbie, she had no chance to win a duel with her charisma. She was in constant defense mode, which had to lead towards her defeat regardless of the content presented or her alignment.
