Anyways, I'm one of the SE's for this game. I can help answer some theory questions, but Thor is the better person to ask, as he's more experienced.

Thor questioning vonflare isn't scummy. Granted, I don't have a solid read on him (and I might not be able to easily), but his play so far definitely doesn't warrant a vote. vonflare looks questionable so far, but it could also just be because he's new.

Ulysses, do have any scum reads right now? Even weak ones? Just because we're out of RVS doesn't mean you have to unvote. Assuming you're town, your vote can be one of your strongest scumhunting tools.

Surye, do you find Thor scummy, or is your vote still rvs?

He's giving great, reasonable input so far. It's going to be tough to truly know his alignment, but I trust him enough for now based on what's he's said and done.

Okay, I'll bite.

The first person to vote for me after Thor’s original vote was Salmonella. At the time, Thor was the only vote on me, and Thor messaged Salmonella directly inviting him to join my wagon.

This is what Salmonella wants us to believe the reason to why he wagoned. From everyone else's point of view, if Salmonella does not vote for me, then the burden of proof would be on him to provide an opinion of 102. Salmonella had a choice, either to post with an effort why he didn’t find me scummy, or vote and place the burden of proof on me to defend against Thor’s questions. From Salmonella’s point of view, my 108 did not provide more information for explaining my original vote on Thor. The easiest response he can do without giving an opinion about post 102 is to vote me and leave the game. This is the safest route for him to pick.

But 102 was telling, and 108 was even more telling, as I said. You looked awful, I wasn't just blindly sheeping.

Prior to this joining this wagon, and yes it was a wagon, Salmonella stated his lack of motivation to scum hunt explicitly. He says he will read the game through the next day, however failed to have an analytical stance for Thor vs Hua. This behaviour is extremely anti town, especially as a SE. When given an opportunity to develop reads, he opted to sheep Thor so he would not have to post reads.

Yes, I stated I lacked motivation, and I still do, and it's not just in mafia. However, I don't need to take some deep analytical stance when looking at the two of you. You've been blowing the whole "blowing out of proportion issue" out of proportion, you're being illogical, and you directly stated you're not going to cooperate with Thor's questioning of you. Meanwhile, Thor's play has been logical, he's been reasonable, etc. Furthermore, read dumping is over-rated. You can see many of my thoughts from my posts.

Post 113 I felt was just a general observation which did not add much to the conversation. This is inline with what I stated earlier in this post that he is lacking the motivation to analyze to the best of his abilities. There was quite a bit of conversation that happened before his next post. Within this break of him posting, Ulysses joined the wagon. I will talk about this later, one thing at a time.

Short and concise != Not adding anything useful. I wasn't really trying to say anything inciteful, anyways, I was just answering a question.

This chain of post between show to me that Salmonella is extremely aware of everything that he has posted. In fact, I suspect he has been checking over his own ISO prior to making any new posts. This is strange coming from a player who has the established image of a player with a “lack of motivation”. Assume that Salmonella is not scum together with Thor, this behaviour clearly indicates that he is using Thor to fight battles for him. This adds on top of the way he he joined Thor’s wagon earlier without providing any personal insight as a way of gaining Thor’s favour.

What's wrong with me being aware of what I've said before? I'm only in one other game, it's not really hard to keep track of anything. Lack of motivation doesn't imply lack of awareness. And do you actually think I could manipulate a player like Thor that easily?

This is about it, his next post summarizes of the chain of events between Thor and Surye. He sided with Thor yet again, and explains his scum read on Surye by sheeping Thor with some “general vibes”. I’m not even sure what this means so I’m going to assume what I see, and it just looks to me like sheep Thor all the way through the day to avoid being lynched.

I suppose I could've stated my view on him before I asked, but doesn't me asking about him out of all the players imply I think something's up with him?

I understand the need to advance the game and while I'd rather lynch Surye/hua, we have four days left and I don't think either of those wagons will get any further at the moment, plus any information from a lynch would certainly help. Isn't that why you declared intent?

Sorry. I don't really like hua's push on me. It's a lot of misinformation. If I didn't have a scum read on hua, I probably couldn't determine his alignment on his push alone, however. Town can be wrong too.

Karlos hasn't really stood out to me as a specific alignment. Based on my current reads/process of elimination, I'd bet he's town right now.

For the record, I'm definitely willing to switch back onto Surye/hua if a wagon on them becomes viable before deadline.
