I'm so nervous about hardreading RC but I hooooope he's town. Also I think he probs is. Soul feels different from our last game together and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Last game he was so unconsciously adorably obvtown that even scum!me felt it was appropriate to out it xD. Not sure if his air or confidence this game is necessarily a town tell or a scum tell but it's something I'll be keeping an eye on.

KK is rly uncomfortable for me. Her play is very transparent and like borderline clumsy sometimes but there's something about her posting style that feels so methodical and calculated that I am passively aware my ability to toneread is operating at 20%. That being said I feel she's town motivated so far.

I really need to analyse intention further in the KK vs. James situation. As I read my gut was screaming that KK was scumhunting and James was trying to discredit/ser up a ML.


But so far I don't think I want to vote myself RC or KK. The fact she still has 3 vote's feels kinda gross.

I don't believe jame's points on kiana, which mostly revolve around what looks logical/illogical and how that relates to alignment. I don't like their inability to form reads though. I'm not ready to attribute that to scum yet though. If kiana is new to the game and just got drilled that hard, their interaction with James could be town.

Lots has happened during my date night last night. I'm closer to null on James right now than before because some really good points were made about him.

Kinda hard to explain but I was starting to get this niggling uncertainty about your hop on the wagon. It kinda looked like you might have been intentionally withholding reads or trying to plug a mislynch without actively pushing the wagon (getting KK to do the dirty work for you).

It's still not impossible ig but your list doesn't feel scum motivated at all. Generally it feels like you're trying to gamesolve anyway so I think I'm predisposed to townreading you.

Locktown on KK is probably a bit too generous but tbh as far as a D1 tone based locktown goes I actually don't mind it. She's obvnewbtown to me. If I read her with an "awkward posting style newbie lens" she totally checks out. The case against her was weird and she came off towny in early interactions. Also certain meta reasons on this slot which I can elabote on if you'd like.

I haven't seen a way to read Huntress. Nothing has pinged me one way or another and I'm not really seeing particularly strong intent from either alignment in her posts. Her activity is low but at this stage I feel like she's closer to disengaged from the game than actually intentionally lurking.

BK nobody with any intention of solving the game is going to go with what you're putting forward.

So someone else with a PR would either know one of them is lying or be able to successfully cc one of them. There has been no indication of this. Just double checked and there is no Nea only or Doc only setup. So either a cc exists and isn't being called (bad play), one of them is a PR who is faking a different PR and the other one is scum or VT fakeclaiming (super unlikely) or both of their claims are actually legit.

Your case is like an insane projection. The fact the PRs are outed is not optimal but it does put us in a temporary advantage as the D1 ML chance has been reduced from 7/9 to 5/9. The fact you're trying to derail this advantage is scummy.

Secondly: If two conftown players are reaching the same conclusion it is logical that it's a sensible towny conclusion and not bullshit the scumteam are pushing. We may not have PR results yet but unifying the town at least partially is vital to town wincon.

Yeah for sure. What impressed me last game was I had the feeling you were the only person actively prepared for literally any combination of players to be scum. You stood vs. town leaders while sorting your reads, but then when you realised the probability that they were town (and the potential in their reads) you also put that pride aside and went with the flow.

And I couldn't put stock in those reads. I think Soul is scum here man. He's presenting as a lot more confident and informed than he did in our previous game, and his reactions to having his buttons pushed feel different. It could be him gaining experience and confidence as a player sure but it just doesn't feel right gut wise. ATM the only person I can't see him as scum with is James honestly.

No that's pretty much what I was seeing.

My major reservation with scumreading soul is to an extent this stuff is his playstyle. I just finished a game with him where he was town and I was scum and I can see technical similarities in his play. ftr RC was also town in this game.

The big difference?...he feels way less genuine and awkward here. I get the feeling he's going through the motions of impersonating his own playstyle to try and cash in the townreads.

If Kiana is scum her partner is RC. I think a big part of my townread on her is how like aggressively isolated she appears to the entire player list and RC is the exception.

But out of the possible scumteams this is amongst my least favorite. It literally reminds me of a paranoid dream I had during my first newbie game here

I'll need to go back and reread the context a bit if you'd like more (when I'm alive again as its 3am here ). But that definitely a "day 1 read" - throwing gut based ideas around and looking for scummy associations. D1 KK/RC was the only potentially-SvS interactions I saw KK having.

Crux of it? First off you did nothing that allowed me to townread you. I think I'm pretty good at smelling out other townies.

When there was pressure on you, you exploded with AtE which is not a town move. Town wins by finding scum (even if it involves their own death esp as VT) and not by surviving until the end of the game. SCUM are concerned with survival.

Since being pressured hare you've attempted to discredit James' case on you, flipped your reads so dramatically that trying to analyse your reads post flip will be a nightmare and hyperposted totally uncharacteristically.

I think that this is attempted coaching after your buddy realised there was heat on you.

trying to read past his prickliness (which is a good trait ftr) and weak VT slip early game, a lot of his posts are starting to ping me really hard. regardless, lynching independent "scummy people" in LyLo without considering teams is the #1 way to throw games. therefore I'm scumhunting almost exclusively by associations.

re-reading an ISO of [KK + thenavneet] / Huntress, I don't really feel it. to boot, there are interactions with Huntress (apparently due to her being IC?) which I just don't see coming from newscum-KK if they were buddies. they're conversations that would prooobably happen, but in the scum PT. this doesn't entirely clear this as a team but honestly I'm putting the likelihood at <10%.

so scum is probably either thenavneet/Flubber or Flubber/Huntress. Flubber is immediately >90% likely to flip red to me.
