OK, could someone please summarize the meta/playing style of: Jeanne, Titus, Masquerade & rkvothe? These are the 4 I've never played with before. Now I do NOT claim I could read those whom I did play with before, but -at least- I can try and will have something to compare to.

To me RC is probably town (not sure, but leaning towards it). I don't quite read Titus at all though, so it could very well be TvT for all I know.

I'll also wait for FA to comment (hopefully she will be able to do some catching up in the next 48 hours).

The vote count suggests Ranger is off the table for today. It's either Titus or Masquerade, and you're telling me Titus is town.

Another thing is that Jeanne is your top town read, and she's pushing hard for the hammer on Masquerade, so my choice should be Masquerade still. However, I do feel we have time still, so I'm not not hammering before I hear something from the accused.

I'm neither sum reading nor town reading her. Her fiasco with RC (or RC's fiasco with her... whichever) totally sent me to outer space. For now I'd say "maybe" Jeanne & Xtoxm are town, and I'm not even sure about either of them.

RC himself is a BIG mystery ion this game. For one thing; he's nothing like the RC I know. For another, he sounds too sincere in his belief that Titus is scum I can't bring myself to believe scum would go over the edge like that to kill a townie knowing they'll go next (in fact, he even offered to go first).

Well, considering that I've never played with scum!RC before I guess I'll just have to take your word for it. Two points though:

1- How does he expect to get away with it?
2- He asked for you to confirm what he says happened between him & her on Skype, and I don't think you gave a straight answer just yet. Your responses imply it isn't so, but you never said it explicitly.

I don't like the fact that rkvothe posted nothing related to the game. All his posts are irrelevant one liners.

On another note, it's a bit irritating 3dice is tunneling me all through the site (not just this game). And before someone asks for a quote to prove it; I remind you we're not allowed to speak about ongoing games outside their own threads.

Jeanne on the other hand is sheeping Ranger. I'm trying to convince myself it's bc Jeanne is a noob, but she actually registered to the site long before I did so that's not working.

Ranger I'm undecided on. She did/said nothing to make me suspect her, but something is off (unlike her elsewhere) and I can't seem to pinpoint what exactly.

Personally, I have no reason to vote Masquerade. Two votes on him already and both w/o a proper case.

Xtoxm is leaning town, which still leaves me with FA & FB to have another look at.

Doing a quick re-read I realized I made a mistake. It was Masquerade who accused Ranger of jumping his own BW when in fact she was the first voter. I thought I'd correct that bit in case anybody was voting them based on it.

Why wouldn't you want to lynch a hider? What would've been your reaction if he claimed Cop or Vig or Doctor? The hider cannot protect anyone. They cannot investigate anyone, and if they hide behind a townie who gets targeted for a NK they will be dead with them.

So, IMHO: Hider is even less that a VT for the town. At least the VT will take a shot away from Town PRs.

Now all the above is ASSUMING he is town to begin with, and that his claim is for real. Now give me one reason why I should believe him to be town-aligned to begin with?

I think I got the first bit. You ARE accepting his claim to be town, and he will hide behind someone and come to tell us the next day, so that someone would be confirmed town to you. Fine. But do/did you expect him to tell you beforehand who he will be hiding behind, so when he dies you would know who is scum?????

FYI -and this is from the wiki page- "As Hider, claim Weak Cop (or just Cop). This will entice the scum to make a failed kill on you.".

So, claiming hider outright is actually anti-town, bc no scum is going to target a hider. Moreover, it's a good way to drive away the investigators too, bc they will not want to waste their night action on someone they cannot find.

I think it best for 3d NOT to hide tonight, thus giving the mafia targets to shoot at, but NO chance for the town to lose 2 players to them (either by killing the townie you're hiding behind or by you hiding behind a mafia player)
