Have you played with him? His spamming is noteworthy. Error, too many posts is okay but I like the haystack one better. Egomaniac don'tcha know.

But a title should come naturally. This blatantly doesnt, all the titles thus far are almost hitting "its smells like shite but is it?" on the crap-o-meter. I think his spamming as well, whether pointless or not, does not deserve a title. Wait until he does something actually worth recognition.

A haystack title caught my attention more than any other idea. It's clever. I like it.

My fear is it will delay the time before you learn your playstyle is anti-town and sucks (assuming this is what the title is referencing).

Titles should not be given for incredibly anti-town playstyles IMO, because it just encourages it.

I haven't played with him either, as I'm still on hiatus, probably until summer, but millions of posts, even when there are some that actually have good content, is bad for the town. Succintness = pro-town.

I like "no added preservatives" for Sudo, personally. It's not quite as blatant(which I like in a title) as the other ones, and I just find it to be a humorous phrase.

if you don't have a good idea for a title, it's not a good idea to try to make one just because someone "deserves" it. It leads to bad titles and bad nominations. It's best to have an idea before posting

I don't get the SocioPath thing. Is it about his posting style? I'm not thrilled with the rash of these lately (Fate, etc).

Nobody is. But SocioPath has pretty much always lived up to his username.

Then leave it at that. I don't like the forced attempt at a title here. It doesn't seem necessary, and nothing seems like it fits.

I keep seeing the objection being raised "That's not rewarding good play", I think you people need to go back and read the existing titles. Titles have never been about rewarding good play they have been about memorable events and/or play styles, there is already quite a precedent for titles for

questionable play established.

it's not about rewarding good play, it's about not rewarding bad play. Sure, titles can be about moments of utter stupidity(see: zoraster, for instance), but when a person's playstyle is just incredibly anti-town, don't give them a title for it.

But in seriousness, someone coming to the title thread and saying 'I've been here 6 months, title me now!' should not be given a title as a matter of policy. I'm pretty sure Oman would agree with me on this, even though we tend to disagree on his titling policy at times.

This. That's why I suggested what I did. I think everyone who comes in whining for a title should either not get one, or should get "Goon" or "Townsperson".
