i'm not sure if i don't get it or if i just don't like it

as i understand it it's a play on "denim" which is a username pun / reference to a nickname and "carpe diem" but the link between that and seizing capital seems a little tenuous, unless there's something i'm missing

well "carpe diem's" word for word latin to english translation is "seize the day", and the marxist class flip phrase is "seize the means of production" where "seize"

I mean that might still be weak, I don't know.

The pun is actually the weak side for me because 'th' is a consonant cluster that changes the sound and I don't mentally always abbreviate it all the way to pant, but if lots of connect to that then they do. I think he's sufficiently spontaneous for a carpe name too.

a lot of people (including myself) call him pants. also his username is sometimes pantaleon instead of panthaleon on ms it's panthaleon though.
