[SETUP] Bluffing Mafia

Bluffing Mafia3 goons
1 town tracker
1 town doctor
7 vts

During the night phase, all players PM the mod their own role and any related night action; these are posted publicly (not including the scum nightkill, which is simultaneously communicated to the mod separately and kept hidden as per usual).

Vanilla townies and mafia goons may bluff any town role - scum have to, obviously, to avoid scumclaiming - in which case they succeed in performing any stated night action. Town PRs cannot claim VT, but they are free to claim that they are the
other
TPR. However, each night, the mafia have the ability to choose to call one player’s bluff. If they are correct, the player dies of shame (this is not a factional kill, so it cannot be tracked or doctor-saved) and their night action fails. If they are incorrect (the player is indeed that power role) the player’s alignment and role are publicly confirmed, and they become 1-shot bulletproof.

After all of the above, the nightkill is resolved against all remaining night actions. Scum can not multitask, so whoever performs the night kill fails to do their public action if they have one.

After a TPR dies or is publicly confirmed, players may no longer bluff that they have that role.

Scum can choose to no kill.

Is this breakable?
If so, are there weaker TPRs that would work?

Just to make sure you understand the setup:

Night 1, there could be as many as 8 successful tracking actions

In post 5, BNL wrote:I don't know if the extra investigations help town more than the near certain extra kill from scum hurts town.

To be clear, bluffing townies post "I track Irrelephant" rather than "I track someone (PMed to mod)" or "I target Irrelephant" right?
Well they PM it to the mod but the mod posts everything publicly & simultaneously (to prevent anyone from basing their night action off of other people’s night actions)
But yeah they specify both what kind of action and who they’re targeting

As for the consequences being too low, my thought was some town should probably claim VT to make the extra nightkill less likely to happen. And “1-shot bulletproof IC with a guaranteed night action who can’t ever get caught in a bluff going forward” isn’t enough of a consequence?

If not, the gladiator thing sounds interesting

Is there a different number of players that would make this more balanced?

To shrink scum’s chances of successfully using the “calling the bluff” kill

Town here has to balance the number of night actions they want to go through with the increased likelihood scum will correctly call a bluff

I mean, okay! I didn’t think of that point as an important one, and if it makes the game more playable, great
