normal day / night cycle, mafia has no nightkill on night 1

when someone is executed, town may also vote to give them a power role to use on the following night, each power may only be taken once

- publishing cop
- publishing tracker
- Vigilante
- Doctor
-Jailkeeper
- Neighborizer (the executed player won't have access to the dead thread if this ability is used)
- Detective-izer
- Bus Driver
- Nothing (may be taken more than once)

Do you vote on what to give them before they flip? that would be kind of spicy

yeah indeed, that's what my starting point for the design was

(1) does the power *have* to be used? like, if scum is executed, and town votes to give them the publishing cop, do they have to cop someone?
(2) do executed mafia members keep access to the scum pt? i.e., can the living scum give the executed buddy advice on who to target with whatever they got?

i'd say this is scumsided atm but would definitely play something like this

nope, you don't have to use power at all if you don't want, i could make it the opposite but that sounds kinda bad

2) they don't but if you give a mafia member neighborizer, nothings stop them from neighborizing a buddy


and yeah i think that's kinda scumsided too, not sure how to fix that tbh, thanks for saying that's not a totally horrible setup though lol

yeah so mafia leaves PT upon getting exed, but no one joins the dead PT while they can still influence the game

it's only doable on the night that they gets exed, otherwise i think it's waaaay to powerful yeah

Probably town should be voting on a role choice at the same time as the elimination vote.

yes, they vote on both simultaneously, realized the ruling wasn't clear on that one

and yeah, maybe some non-one shot stuff could be cool, although annoying for scum to deal with
