so once one mafia is lynched a random other one dies?
the kill mechanic is interesting, do scum know who each other are? if so there could be some fun crumbing. i would probs give scum some kind of strength though as 3-10 mountainous tends to be balanced and this skews the set up in town's favour if a scum lynch goes through day 1. although multiple night kills make it pretty swingy. you would probsw have to do some probabilities to see whether this is balanced.vonflare (21:40)

10:3 mountainous is not balanced. 11:2 mountainous is very scumsided (and in fact has a 0% town win rate on mafiascum.net; it is of coursepossiblefor town to win it, but the true town win rate is likely very low). And 10:3 mountainous is so much better for scum!
10:3 White Flag is considered balanced, and this mechanic has some similarities with White Flag, so it's possible that this setup is balanced. I'm not sure the scum would enjoy it much though, and finding the last scum (after one had died) is likely to get very tedious. In general, setups where there are a large number of townies and very few scum (as could happen here after an early scum lynch) tend to be depressing for everyone.scum· scam · seam · team · term · tern · torn ·town- Infinity 324

one scum plays awfully. gets lynched. two scum basically have 0 chance to win the game. this is the issue with scum lovers in small teams, it makes it really swingy and can unfairly screw people over.
i think it might be ok if a random scum dies with the first as originally suggested. i would throw in a town rb to screw with results slightly and give town a bit more power, especially as there are no town PRs to watch.vonflare (21:40)
