Regardless of who wins, I would like to petition them to not put a player count restriction in the next challenge. I think that will both improve overall submission quality and increase the chance of the setups being run.

It's interesting how much disagreement there is in the voting for this challenge. With many challenges, there's widespread agreement on the best few setups, but that doesn't seem to have happened here (there are several setups rated very highly by some people and very low by others).

I believe these are the full results? I'm a bit unsure of the Hot Potato tier.

The results were really surprising to me. I don't recall anyone rating Baton pass very highly, but it was generally well received, and the other setups in the list were a lot more controversial, with many high votes but also low votes.

EDIT: And done. Baton Pass is now an outright Condorcet winner rather than a weak Condorcet winner.

FWIW, second-place calculations (deleting the winner from the results and simulating the election from the other setups):

There's a Condorcet cycle. Fibonacci Mafia is beaten (for second place) only by Mirror World, which is beaten only by Splash Damage. Splash Damage loses to Fibonacci Mafia, also to Forkbomb Mafia and Balance in the Neighbourhoods. Who you put in second place is thus a matter of how the tiebreak is calculated. (The linked website gives the tie to Mirror World because its worse loss is no worse than the worst loss of any other setup (primary tiebreak), and it has the fewest ties (secondary tiebreak).)

thanks everyone! there were some great submissions this month, i'm a little surprised i won (although i do think i'm happier with baton pass than with my submissions in previous months)

going to mull over the criteria i was thinking of a bit more and hopefully have the may challenge up later today or at the latest tomorrow
