Two Zones - probably somewhat townsided, but it has a couple of interesting dilemmas, namely: do you put the masons together or split them up, and what happens if you get a single scumflip after D5? That scenario is really cool to me because the groups don't know which one has two scum and a single flip will reveal it but both groups may be playing chicken with the other, afraid to make the first move.

Follow the Doc (v2) - This is a cool way to make Follow the Leader less broken. The 1-shot BP opens the door for some cool gambits such as the doc heavily softing an inno on someone and then healing them successfully twice.

Our Target - seems like it probably plays out like 5:2 nightless vengescum which is fairly scumsided, but if scum aren't careful they can get into some awkward spots. I think a scum hammer on the target is pretty much a free win because it's not worth it to have paranoia on that.

Fusion Mafia - very scumsided, but the concept is super neat. Honestly I'd probably like it better if the pairing automatically occurred at a certain time, because 10:3 mountainous is rough and it's fairly likely to get no scum flips until LYLO or at all.

Shitpost - interesting idea, wrong numbers IMO. Unless town lynches correctly D1, they have practically no chance, because there will end up being a bunch of 1v1's in XYLO and they have to get them all right. Cfj's breaking strategies are just ways of creating 1v1's and they don't really alleviate this I don't think.

Katamari - sorry but this gives me shivers. I hate the idea of someone being scum who thinks they're town, which is basically what it is if scum self-NK's and joins someone. Disguiser mafia already feels weird and this twist on it feels even weirder. Props to you for the creativity though; ideas like this are how you create awesome and innovative setups, even if I wasn't a fan of this specific one.

Singleton king wins with Fusion Mafia.

Out of curiosity I checked to see what would happen if irrelephant and popsofctown each ranked their own setups first and Fusion Mafia second rather than the reverse of that. It cause the result "popsofctown and singleton tie". Singletonking didn't actually pop in to vote for himself so that doesn't seem any sort of indicator that unequally distributed ego negatively impacts the election process.

Singletonking should show up here to pick next month's challenge and to listen to me complain about how his name is long yet SK and single are terrible abbreviations which made filling out the form more stressful for me.

Sorry I wasn't here to vote, but before I create the next challenge, I think I'd like to have some discussion if it makes sense to continue this series? The number of entries have been declining since April, and I know my energy into creating setups have been declining as well.

I would consider the worthwhileness metric to be number of ballots not number of setups fwiw if we had 200 people voting on 4 setups i'd like that more than 4 people voting on 200 setups.

FWIW, the number of setups that I think are actually good has been fairly constant in the 3-4 range. I think it's more that the low-effort setups get less likely to be posted.

Summer is slower on MS all around, I think. I won’t worry about it unless we hit a month with fewer than 4 setups. 4+, and it’s still worthwhile imo.
