Nightkills are compulsive. The player designated to perform the Night 2 nightkill dies as they perform the kill.

There's three times as many associative tells compared to 7-2 mountainous, which won't get reflected in the EV.

I get 36.08% without the friendly neighbor, and 37.22% replacing it with an IC. Friendly neighbor should be a bit stronger than that, plus associative tells and a guaranteed flip before the game ends. Yeah, should be pretty reasonable.

the scumteam gets to be the better 2 out of a given 3 people

bonus associative tells aren't really much of a thing when it's known from the beginning that somebody is going to necessarily flip at a certain time

The former will alter the win %s, but the thing is, it alters the win %s in a way that I feel is not unfun design. The important thing is that the losing team in any setup feel outplayed. When a scumteam with 2 pros sacrifices Joe Schmo Amateur and sweeps 5 man LyLo there is nothing that is going to make the townies feel like they weren't outplayed. For there to be this kind of skill imbalance in the scumteam, 1-2 of the scum have to be good, so the outcome of the game should feel like a function of player efficacy.

The latter - will just agree to disagree.

This isn't necessarily true tho because if you lynch scum before then, then you still have to sacrifice one of the remaining scum.

I think it's closer to 60-40 ish?
