gobbledygook | Flash Mob
I actually really really like this setup except for one thing - it feels like the flamenco is too punishing on scum. My understanding is there'd be 3 pairs, 1 treestump, and if any of the two pairs with mafia in them were lynched, they'd lose. Granted, thinking about it more it would require all four townies to agree in a way that would be harder than in the Tango, so maybe it's not so townsided. As for the Tango, I think it sounds like a lot of fun - one pair known to be two scumbuddies is a good concept, I think.

---
TemporalLich | Marathon Night v2
Doesn't seem bad. I like the voting of the role distribution, although I think that 2 masons is probably the best choice always? Public cop is also a consideration too, so it's not terrible unbalanced, and the dayvig is a fun one too, if people want to go for that.

---
Jingle | 8p Choose Your Rival
Doesn't seem terribly unbalanced, from what I can tell. That being said, I'm not sure it's really that interesting? Sorry. I can't say I really see the "draw".

Kerset | Cunning Saints
Is this fun? I feel like randomized Supersaints is not really a fun concept for a setup, but that might just be me.

BBmolla | I Love You Not
Unknown lovers seems like an un-fun mechanic. One mafia partner is presumably the best scum player in the list, and the mafia presumably picks the best townies to be partnered with them. I would posit that it's scumsided?

DrDolittle | Babbling Bjerg
Sorry, maybe this sort of thing just isn't for me, but I don't think that this looks fun. In setup 2 mafia quickhammers the second someone votes wrong, right? And in setup 1 when nobody claims Bjerg you'd know you're in setup 1, and even if mafia fakeclaims Bjerg, you would still know that it's setup 1 after you lynch someone and the game isn't over, right? So then, wouldn't you just bar the doors the day after and always win? I might be missing something. (turns out this is only true if you lynch town in setup 1, not if you lynch scum. not sure it changes my thoughts much)

---
Hectic | Switch with Your Name on It
It's really unique. I have a hard time evaluating it otherwise.

ceejayvinoya | Ascension Without Meds
I think this setup faces the Creature problem (i.e. how much does inserting Creature as a player in your game invalidate the setup) in that if town can reliably ascend one person, it might be a little unbalanced? Rolestopper is interesting.

popsofctown | The Best Patch
I'm sorry. I don't really understand it.

Not Known 15 | Jail V2
This is a difficult one to parse. I think the Jail mechanic is a lot better suited to a larger game than an 8 player one.

-----
Ircher | SS3 Draft

This wouldn't actually just be standard SS3, right? Because you could get into number claiming, or claiming however it is that the draft was done. I /think/ that that might townside it? Not sure.

gobble (Flash Mob) > TL (Marathon Night) > Jingle (Choose Your Rival) = Kerset (Cunning Saints) = BBmolla (I Love You Not) = DrDolittle (Babbling Bjerg) > Hectic (Switch) = ceejay (Ascension) = popsofctown (Patch) = NK15 (Jail) > Ircher (SS3 Draft)

maybe use a different system like Borda Count to break the tie? Idk if that'll work.

if i remove the votes that i placed for people of their own setups, we have an outright winner of TemporalLich. i'm not sure if it was people's intentions to leave out their own setups or not, though, and i'd suspect that it wasn't.

The code you posted has all four winners voting their own setup the most highly, how is that granting you a different result?
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

I propose the tiebreak method, "the winner according to all ballots not submitted by someone who tied for first". This grants an outright winner of gobble.
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

Apparently Copeland's method (using the votes as NSG posted) in the winner calculator spits out Marathon Night v2 as the winning setup.

Not sure if that helps but I guess, idk.

If I had to alter my vote I'd swap my setup and Hectic's setup.

That sounds a good idea if mith agrees. Mith is knowledgeable about open setups and would be impartial.

please no player count restriction next challenge

actually rechecking this month's restrictions i can't believe that literally every setup this month was less than 8 players when that wasn't even necessarily a restriction

The "game ends quick" requirement overlapped the playercount restriction

if it means anything, i thought your setup was the best :p

also, i realized that when counting the votes in previous months, if a setup creator didn't submit a list, the vote counter would submit a single vote for their own setup for the creator. i didn't do that here, but all of the people who tied voted, so i don't think it would've made a difference?

I disagree with assuming a creator who didn't submit a list would vote for only their own, FWIW.

I didn't vote but wouldn't have ranked mine as top setup either.
