Inspired by 8-Ball, hence the name. Also my first setup.

3 mafia

9 townies

On N1, instead of a nightkill, the mafia have to nominate 2 townies as a striped ball; other townies are then a solid ball. From then on, if a solid ball is lynched, the Mafia loses their nightkill for the night.

I think this is a decent starting off point to discuss balance.

Nightless EV dictates that a 50/50 balance is 3v9 so this setup is scumsided, although that is usually a good thing because setups are usually designed to be scumsided.

Quick question, how do you handle stuff like people voting to no lynch or failing to reach a majority?

Nobody is lynched, mafia gets a nightkill.

Yes.

okay I think your setup is scumsided

just stripe the people who def won't make a lylo and that also subtracts info from the equation, you can kill top townreads

However I do think an interesting modification would be give like 3(?) stripes to scum, and they can mark themselves and others
