9P Dance
2 Mafia

7 Townies

Players sign up as either Ladies or Gentlemen - with a limit of 5 each.

Gentlemen Propose to Ladies with
bolded text
for a dance. They may not withdraw proposals.

Ladies accept proposed dances to them with
bolded text
.

Each pair of dancers will form a Lover-Neighborhood with a PT to post in.

If a dancer leaves or is voted out, their partner must leave as well.

Mafia win at Parity - or when the deadline for Dance runs out prior to their elimination.

Town win when there are no more Mafia players dancing.

Dance partners may leave by bolding
Leave Dance

Dancers and Mafia will have day-talk. This is a Nightless Setup.

Inspired by playing FakeGod's wonderful dance setup.

Is this what we played or slightly different?
Either way, those discord dance games are like perfect for marathons.

We played this and a version with a parity daykill for mafia if they did not pair in pre-dance.

Mafia won both times - but I think the forum format will move the balance more towards the town. 1 Hour pressure deadlines on discord are very tense for town.

Voting works like normal, you need a majority vote on a pair to force them to leave.

At Final 4 since your partner would need to vote for you to reach 3 votes, its essentially pointless to vote and it will only end when a partner chooses to leave the dance.

This has literally been done once in the past
I don’t know why it hasn’t been done since tbh

hmm I think the lack of a nightkill turns this game into a find the single top T-T pairing which mind you isn't necessarily a negative thing, but this game can become incredibly hard for scum to win. they can consistently come close but sealing the deal will be hard, which might be okay because games that feel close are fun
