Role List. Each lodge has one power role assigned to it.
One faction, at random, is chosen to be the Mafia faction, and gains a factional kill.
We have a night-start, but in a slightly unorthodox way:
- Players are allowed to communicate in the main thread during the night, and are even allowed to cast votes.
- Once the deadline for Night 0 has ended, the mod announces the deaths, discounts those players' votes, and opens PTs, starting Day One.
Masons gain access to their PTs at the end of the zeroth night and are not informed of who is in the PT until it first opens. Mafia always have access to their PT.
Everyone has daytalk.
Day eliminations do not reveal if a player is Town or Scum, but do reveal lodge and role.
I would appreciate feedback and suggestions to balance the core concept: everyone's in a secret society, and one society is the Mafia.
