random idea I had while looking around the wiki. first time balancing a setup around MS standards so tell me if this is utter dogshit

Lover - If a Lover dies by any means, their partner also dies instantly (this cannot be stopped by any means). Lovers know each other's identity and have a PT, where they may talk at night.

Mafia daytalk is dependent on the survival of the Encryptor. The Encryptor is unable to kill until they are the only mafia alive (which also means that Psychologist will yield a "not able to kill" result on them until that happens).

Psychologist will yield a "can kill" result on the Babysitter.

initial thought is that this could be a bit scumsided. not much experience with MS meta, so what are your thoughts? thanks!

it's in the open discussion forum so yeah, it's open (obviously)

might allow crumbing as long as it's not obvious like "the loan company's calling" or something (referring to my own name)

just straight-up allowing claims might be the better way to go here

in hindsight if claiming in messages is allowed, mailman pretty much becomes a buffed friendly neighbor so I see your point

psychologist could get an extra shot or two if the mailman is ditched and replaced with a VT

1-shot psychologist as a quasi-named townie is fine

maybe a small buff on the rb'er but i don't know a thing about open balance tbh

imo babysitter induces a lot of swing, and even more if they're a lover, but i can see a strat of babysitter protecting the alien

imo babysitter induces a lot of swing, and even more if they're a lover, but i can see a strat of babysitter protecting the alien

even if this gets to some degree of balance, it's probably still going to be very swingy

but babysitter has enough opportunities for gambiting and such that it's probably not gamebreaking on its own

babysitter + alien also don't make each other invincible so that's a combination that's fine to keep
