This is a quick adaptation of the mini version of ETL's Turf War for 13 players (changes in
teal
). I'm not sure if the 12p version of the original setup has even been tested before, nor am I sure if the setup has been run outside of Marathons, but it's a fun one and I'm hoping to bring this variant to the Open Queue if everything looks okay.

13 players
2 Mafia 1-shot Roleblocker Neighbours
2 Mafia 1-shot Roleblocker Lovers
8 Town Neighbours
1 Town Waiter
  • The two mafia neighbours are each paired with a townie, and the rest of the townies are paired with each other.

  • Each neighbourhood shares a vigilante ability that can be used each night.
  • The mafia lovers share a neighbourhood with the same rules and abilities as the others.

  • If one neighbour dies, that neighbourhood loses the ability to shoot.
  • Neighbours must agree on their target and specify who is performing the shot, or no action will be taken.
  • Neighbours may not shoot themselves or their neighbours. They may choose to target no one.
  • Each member of the mafia has a 1-shot roleblock ability they may use on anyone once during the game.
  • Mafia do not have a standard nightkill.
  • Mafia may choose a nightkill target that will take effect only if all neighbourhoods do not target anyone for a shot.
  • The waiter can select a player during each day phase to gain access to their neighbourhood PT for that night only.
  • The waiter does not have a say in any neighbourhood's action choices, but may post freely in the PT.
  • The waiter is immune to vigilante shots originating from their targeted neighbourhood for that night only.
  • The waiter's action is unaffected by the mafia's roleblock abilities.
  • If the waiter targets a mafia lover, their action will succeed.
  • If the mafia lovers die by any means, the waiter also dies immediately.
  • The waiter may not select the same target two days in a row, nor may they select their previous target's neighbour.


The lovers having their own neighbourhood that has a chance of being raided by the waiter forces them to produce PT theatre, because they can't immediately shoot the waiter and would have to rely on their partners being able to convince their own town neighbours to shoot at the unwanted guest that night.

It might be worth removing the waiter's partial vig-immunity on N1 to make a D1 claim less optimal? Taking input on this.
