It's time for probably one of the most beloved and often ran games Mish Mash has ever had! It has been run 19 times, by 12 different mods throughout the years. It even has its own subsection on the MafiaScum wiki. Can't say we're representing Mish Mash and not include it, and what's a game without a creative challenge of sorts? So here is Telephone Pictionary!

Game Rules

You've either probably played this before, or at least played Pictionary, but indulge me in explaining the rules just in case you haven't, as there is a twist on the normal game. Each team must divide themselves into artists and writers, with 6 artists and 6 writers on each team, and arrange yourself in whatever order you wish as long as it alternates between artists and writers. I will be giving you the starting sentence to your first artist. That artist will have

at most

24 hours in which to complete their drawing that represents the starting sentence and send it in to the mods. We will then give this drawing to the writer following them in the order. The writer must interpret what the artist drew into one sentence, and they also have

at most

24 hours. This sentence will be sent to the next artist in line, and we will continue this process until we get to your team's last writer, who will give the mods one final sentence. The sooner you get your part done, the faster we can get through this challenge.

You will then be judged on how close to the original sentence your ending sentence is, and the team that remains closer to the original sentence will win. The winning team will draft partners with all of the artists picking first in the order the judges believe their drawings matched the sentence they were given, followed by the writers, in the order their sentences accurately describe the image given to them.

Picture/Sentence Standards:

• Any drawing program--Photoshop, Flash, MS Paint--will do. Drawing pictures by hand and scanning them will also do. Making a diorama with paper cutouts and silly putty and sending a photograph of that will do. The sky is pretty much the limit here. In fact, if you can get your hands on one of those airplanes that draws pictures out of fake clouds, then the sky is literally the limit here.
  
• Having said that, please draw everything from scratch. You can use Google Images as a reference, but don't paste other people's pictures into your own.
  
• Words are completely banned. English letters used to denote words, and codes (camel octopus dinosaur eagle snake), will also be sent back with a stern warning, although if it's relevant you can use them to portray the alphabet. Numbers and symbols and math are all fine.
  
• Pictures should be 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall. Please don't go too far over that; some of us have tiny laptop screens. Photographs are best saved as JPGs; otherwise, if in doubt, you should probably save as a PNG. Do not save as a BMP under any circumstances or I'll have to ask you to reformat it before sending it onward, and nobody wants that.
  
• Please be mindful of where you upload your pictures to. Tinypic deletes its pictures without warning, and anything uploaded to the wiki is accessible by other players. Most people use Imgur these days. Photobucket's also a good bet, if you have that--but make sure that the album that you put your pictures in is private.
  
• When you upload, don't save it under a name that will hint at its origins. This is something else that you'll need to reformat over.
  
• Okay, on to sentences. Keep it to one sentence and don't be too legalistic about what you are summarizing. If you don't think the picture is about the fourth wall, don't break the fourth wall.
  
• Please don't break the site rules. Keep it reasonably safe for work, and preferably not too gross.

A few people have asked how this is being judged, so basically, we're gonna consult multiple people in terms of judging, but we're looking for as many details as possible to remain from the original sentence, or at least something close to those details.

This means you should be as specific and detailed as possible in both your drawings and your sentences.

What I

wish is that I could be

both

a writer AND an artist.
I've played this game before.
It's fun doing both. (The variant we did had us alternate between doing one, then doing the other.)
AND, both writing and art are kinda, well, you know...my thing. My hobbies.
So, doing both is something I'd love to do.
