Whoever comes closer to the target will earn points based on the distance from the target. An exact match earns ten points, any valid answer within five scores seven points, and any solution up to ten away from the target scores five points. As before, both players score in the case of a tie. If both players are more than ten away, or the answers of both players are invalid, nobody scores.

"If both players are more than ten away, or the answers of both players are invalid, nobody scores."

That's what happened here, unfortunately.

So i might as well just say fuck it and add them all together if it doesn't reach within 10?

Show me that it can be done within 10 please. Or else don't make us play it.

I agree that it's punishing - I can't verify whether or not it's possible to get within 10 of the target answer, but those are the rules doctorwho runs the challenge with. I would have been happy to consider changing the rules before the challenge began if someone had addressed a problem with them, but since we're already in the midst of it, I feel that would be unfair.

Haschel scores 7 points, putting him ahead 28-19. 7 was the best you could do that round.

Haschel, it's the last letters round, your go.
