Scenes From a Hat

Do you like panel shows? Do you even know what one of those are? Even if you don't, we're going to be bringing you a little game from one of them. From both Whose Line is it Anyways? and Mock the Week, have this fun little creative comedy segment where you get to have a prompt and make shit up. It'll be loads of fun, promise!

Rules

This game is very simple. We've come up with several scenarios similar to the ones you'd hear on Whose Line is it Anyway's Scenes From a Hat. For example: "Things you can say to your dog that you can't say to your girlfriend". Now it's your turn to come up with the funniest responses you can to them.

You'll have

48 hours

to freely discuss with your team what the funniest answers to each scene would be. When you're ready, have a representative from your team PM a mod with 3 responses to each scene.

Each team

is allowed only

3 entries

. The entries will then all be shuffled and sent to our judges, which includes all eliminated players and neutral spectators. The identities of who submitted each entry will remain anonymous. The judges then have

24 hours

to rate each response on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being trash and 5 being hilarious. Teams will earn points equal to the average score given to all of their entries. In addition, the highest-rated response to each prompt earns the author a bonus point. The team with the highest score wins. If there's a tie, the team with the most 1st place entries wins. If there's still a tie, the team to receive the most 5s wins.

Submissions are asked to be kept at a length of no more than a couple sentences. These scenes should be digestible within a few seconds. The use of outside sources or collusion with other teams is prohibited.
