The rules of survivor are such that backstabbing et al are baked into the game you are playing. Again, I am morally opposed to punching people in the face, but I have no problem doing so when I'm boxing.

on the other hand, my decision to not eat meat is a moral decision that transcends the rules of the game. Eating meat is not made substantively different in terms of its global environmental impact because it happens during a game of survivor. So, while it may be a thing that happens within survivor and is therefore "fair game" I am making a prescriptive argument, not a descriptive argument. I am not arguing that it is not a thing that happens in survivor, I am arguing that it ought not to happen in our games of survivor, because it is substantively different in terms of how it fits into peoples world view. I have no problem betraying people in a game of survivor because that is what the game of survivor is about. It is therefore not immoral to do so. But making it part of the game does not change my feelings on out of game morality. If I backstab someone in a game of survivor they are not backstabbed out of the game. If I eat meat in the game not only will I still have eaten meat outside of the game, but also I will probably get very fucking sick because I haven't eaten meat in 2 years and my body is no longer used to it. There is no reason to have this challenge besides "well, its a thing that sometimes happens." but there have been plenty of seasons without an equivalent challenge, its not like its not survivor without it. That means it is a conscious choice to alienate vegetarian players when you could....just....not do that? Additionally, as I already mentioned, even if you insist there has to be a gross food challenge (which, again, not true) it can easily be done vegetarian.
Mhmm. As I said I respect your opinion and won't debate you on it. I'm sure I'd have a different perspective if this was something that impacted me. Easy for me to look at it as I do from my position.

It did suck that Shea had to drop for that challenge, but kudos to sticking to it anyways. That's not the easiest choice and I respect the hell out of it.

As much as oh god my feet fell asleep, I loved the redemple temple challenge and would love for that kind of thing to make a return. Even though they're hard to schedule for, endurance things are great. Balancing things were also great challenges.

The edgics for the game should be finished in a couple days but I'm sending all that info to the Mod team to release when they choose.

Also, aren't crickets like extremely low env impact compared to literally any form of mass produced meat product?

my question is how does everyone know how to tie bandanas on their head so they don't fall off? Is this a skill everyone learned at some point in their life but me? Was there a tutorial at the beginning?
