Survivor: Borderlands (is that already a thing in planning?)
Survivor: Left Behind Series (ok i kind of want to plan this one now)
Survivor: Glee

Also, I'm looking for comods for any of the above.

Fire Emblem, Valkyria Chronicles, and Persona/Atlus would be my top choices. Final Fantasy, fighting games and Smash would work well also. (Although I think there has been at least one Smash game in development for like ever, even if I don't think any of them have been run.) I'd say Kingdom Hearts and Ace Attorney, but Castle Oblivion makes the former not a part of this discussion, and I just don't think the latter would work as well for some reason I don't understand myself.

I'd offer to try to mod one of these if I wasn't allergic to designing things.

as for other themes:
children's tv shows
nintendo in general (I think there's been a lot of survivors themed around individual nintendo games though)
indie games?
history (pre-WWII characters probably)

I knew that, it just slipped my mind for a second there.

i always wanted to run a fire emblem game but i didn't think it had broad enough appeal. then again, there are other niche-theme games that have done fine for interest.

i'm pretty sure there's a last airbender game out there somewhere?
