Like when I started playing, I was decimated too. It's part of learning how the game works and how to improve. You do new folks a disservice if you go out of your way to try to keep them around if they've taken actions that would lead to their elimination.

It's not like the newbies left are weak and going to die. They're smart folks who have a decent grasp on what they're doing.
