Your next challenge is called Task “Hell”. You’ll be given fifteen minutes to complete as many as you can of eight relatively simple tasks. After starting the challenge from the Challenge Start Form, you’ll be linked to a completion form where you will submit evidence that you’ve completed each task (as many or as few at a time as you’d like) in the 15 minutes you’re allotted. You will need some sort of image editing software for some of the tasks, but MS Paint should suffice for this. Feel free to submit the form as many times as you want to submit the different tasks.

The player that completes the most tasks in the fifteen minutes will win the Power of Veto. Should multiple players complete the same number of tasks, the one who submits their final task in the fastest time will win the PoV. Time for another Flash game! The logistics of this one will work just like the last one - you’ll use the Flash Game Starting/Ending Form initially to start the challenge and submit your HoH nominations, and then later to finish the challenge and give me your score.

I can’t tell you what the Flash game is yet, but once you start the form, you’ll have 45 minutes to get as high of a score as you can. By the deadline, take a screenshot of your best score - making sure to include evidence that you got that score for this game, and submit the form again. You can do this as many times as you want during the 45 minutes - I will only look at your last submission. If you lose track of time, there’s a five-minute grace period after the 45 minutes, in which if you submit, I’ll just give you a 25% penalty.

Let’s rip another challenge directly from Survivor: A Quiet Place and play some Thumbtacks! All six players will play in this challenge!

As stated by Radja, here are the rules to Thumbtacks:

“There is, before you, a tall corkboard. … Every round, you will choose to place a thumbtack at one [or two, for one of the rounds] position

. After all tacks have been placed, we will tally the scores for the round and add them to your total score. If someone else [or you, in the round where you place two] places a tack where you placed one, both tacks fall off, and score 0 points. After that, any and all remaining tacks will score point equal to the height of the tack, MINUS the difference of the height of the tack beneath it.

For example, Monty, Alex, Ani and Pizza are playing in a round of Thumbtacks. The scoreboard is 55 units high. Monty places his tack on 50. Pizza places his thumbtacks at 35. Alex places his thumbtack at 20, and Ani places his tack at 35. Pizza’s tack and Ani’s tack both fall off and earn 0 points. Monty earns 30 points (50 – 20) and Alex earns 20 points (20 – 0).”

There will be six rounds that you’ll play simultaneously, with boards of 50, 70, 85, 100, 120, and 150 units - on the 150 unit board, you’ll be placing two tacks instead of one. The player who accumulates the most points between all six rounds wins the Power of Veto. HoH #8: Double Puzzle Trouble

Today’s challenge is called Double Puzzle Trouble. As usual you’ll get started from the Challenge Start Form, where you’ll get links to six-by-six sudoku and KenKen puzzles. You’ll complete the Sudoku puzzle, which has three squares highlighted in different colors. The KenKen puzzle has three squares highlighted in the same colors - you’ll take their values from the Sudoku puzzle, and place them in the corresponding places in the KenKen puzzle. From there, you’ll complete the KenKen puzzle as normal, and you’ll submit a picture of the puzzle once you’re done with it.

Keep in mind that the sudoku puzzle is only 6x6, instead of the standard 9x9. However, the rules are the same - the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 all appear exactly once in each column, once in each row, and once in each outlined three-by-two box. No outside sources are allowed for either puzzle.

The player who submits the correct KenKen puzzle in the fastest time will win the Head of Household! There is no need to take a picture of the completed sudoku puzzle.
