Survivor: The Solomon Islands - RC!!! SURVIVOR SURVEY!!!

Post Post #0 (isolation #0) » Tue Oct 12, 2004 9:49 pm

Post by rolandofthewhite »

Welcome to the Solomon Islands!

Er...

Rather, welcome to this cheap, styrofoam imitation of the Solomon Islands!

I had been thinking about modding a Survivor ORG on here, and voilà! I stumbled across Pie_is_good's first attempt at the game. Sadly, it didn't last very long. But I have decided to start up a new season, with the promise to remain very active and stick through with this game to the finish.

But likewise, I ask that if you sign up, you promise to remain active and participate in the game. I also ask that if you sign up, you have an understanding of how the game works. Those are the only rules at the moment, so let's make this a good game so I don't have to add any more. :wink:

39 Days! 16 Castaways! 1 Survivor!

UGH.

I've been trying to post the challenge for about 2 hours, but my computer is in one of it's crappy moods tonight.

I'm going to have to wait until 5th period tomorrow, so I can take advantage of my school's high-speed internt. :wink:

Sorry for the delay everyone. Expect the challenge up at 2:45 PM EST, at the latest.

Welcome to your first challenge, Survivors!

And a relatively simple one: a crossword puzzle.

http://www.variety-games.com/CW/Puzzles ... puzzle.htm
(since posting the image won't work :evil: )

NOTE: First and last names must be capitalized. All answers must be spelled correctly, and all proper nouns capitalized for the answers to count.

This is how it will work.
You may communicate with your tribemates through PM to discuss the answers, but you must choose one member of your tribe must post the answers below. You must post
ALL
of your answers in a single post. If you omit any, they will be counted as wrong. Any words that are mispelled or aren't correctly capitalized will be counted as wrong. The tribe with the most answers correct will win Immunity!

If both tribes have an equal number correct, the tribe that submitted their answers first will win.

REMEMBER: Only one member of your tribe may post the answers!

Sorry about number 21. I mispelled Rogers as "Rodgers". Also, I couldn't get the Jr. to fit onto the grid correctly, so I omitted that part. I'll throw that question out.

Sorry again! Results soon.

With a cry of excitement, Cubsfan raised his tribe's crossword puzzle in the air, waving it around giddily.

"Pekali has their crossword complete!" Jeff announced.

Olahraga slumped rejectedly in their seats, their faces downcast, yet they continued to work, their bodies hunched over the piece of paper. A moment later, Xanthe jumped to her feet.

"We got it, Probst! Oh, yeah. You guys screwed up on number 21."

Jeff took the paper from her, and stared at the aforementioned number, feeling his face redden. Oops... He had mispelled Rogers. Silly Probst!

"Sorry about that, guys. We'll throw that one out, ok?"

And with that, Jeff began to slowly compare the answers.

Jeff looked up from the puzzles, ready to announce the winner.

"Pekali, you missed only one question, giving you a score of 19/20." Jeff informed them.

Olahraga crossed their fingers, their eyes anxious.

"Olahraga... YOU MISSED
NONE
OF YOUR QUESTIONS!
OLAHRAGA WINS IMMUNITY!!!
" Jeff cried, thrusting the Immunity Idol into Olahraga's eager hands. As one, the tribe lifted Xanthe into the air, cheering.

Jeff turned his attention back to the dispirited-looking Pekali.

"Pekali, I'll see you at Tribal Council. You can both return to camp."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Congratulations on Immunity, Olahraga (and sorry everyone about the Roger thing! :( )! Pekali, now it's time for you to vote off one of your own. I'll need each of you to submit a vote for who you wish to leave your tribe. If you neglect to submit a vote,
YOU
yourself will receive a vote. Failing to submit a vote several times is grounds for replacement... So please don't let this happen too often! Inactivity is bad for everyone!
So simply submit your vote in the following format, and also submit the names of anyone you are in an alliance with, just so I can know how everyone stands in the tribe:
Pekali filed grimly into Tribal Council, each of them grabbing their torch and holding it into the flame before taking a seat.
Jeff nodded. "Welcome to Tribal Council. Tonight, you will be voting out one of your own."
He paused, allowing this to sink in.
"Anyone want to share anything before it's time to vote?"
Cubs raised his immediately. "I'm scared as hell, Probst," he grinned nervously, elicting a chuckle from the rest of his tribe.
"Anyone else?" Jeff asked? Silence. "With that, it's time to vote. AndrewS, you're up first.
Andrew stepped across to the voting platform, returning silently a moment later. One-by-one, the rest of the tribe cast their votes, with Talitha being the last to take her seat. Jeff went to fetch the votes, returning with the urn a moment later.
"The person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
Jeff dipped his hand into the urn, revealing the first vote.
[
Cubsfan
]
Cubs groaned, and stared fixedly at the ground. Jeff pulled out the second vote.
[
Spork
]
Spork's smile faltered slightly.
[
Tally
]
Talitha let out a tiny eep, and glanced nervously at her tribemates.
"That's one vote for Cubs, Spork, and Talitha," Jeff informed, and unfolded the next vote.
[
Spork
]
Spork smile was now a frown. Two people had voted for him?! Why him? The next vote was a surprise to no one.
[
Spork
]
Spork now glared openly at his tribe, most of whom pointedly looked away. With a pause that was intended to be dramatic, but failed miserably, since everyone knew what was going to happen next, Jeff pulled out the last vote of the night.
"And the first person voted out of Survivor: The Solomon Islands..."
[
Spork
]
"Spork, that's enough. No need to read the last two votes." Jeff said politely.
Spork rose angrily from his seat, almost knocking his torch over as he handed it to Jeff.
"Spork... The tribe has spoken."
Jeff lowered the snuffer in a swift arc, extinguishing Spork's torch in a puff of smoke.
Without a word to his tribe, Spork turned and left silently into the forest. Jeff looked at Pekali, and nodded.
"You guys can head back to camp."
And with that, Pekali disappeared into the trees. They had a long night ahead of them.
Time for your first Reward Challenge!
We'll have this same Reward Challenge every episode before the merge, so you'll get used to this soon.
Using a completely random number generator, I'll generate a number from 1-10, and post it on here.
I'll then ask an equal number of people from each tribe (meaning Olahraga will have to sit out one member) to PM me whether they believe the next number I post will be higher or lower than the first one.
I'll use the same generator to post the second number. If your guess was wrong, you will be eliminated from the challenge. The game will continue until one tribe has all their members completely eliminated from the challenge.
The Example Fairy wrote:
FIRST NUMBER
Olahraga Guesses
inHimshallibe:
HIGHER
MeMe:
LOWER
ZONEACE:
LOWER
Pekali Guesses
AndrewS:
LOWER
NanookTheWolf:
LOWER
Talitha:
LOWER
SECOND NUMBER
: 8
Since the second number was higher than the first, anyone who guessed lower is eliminated. inHimshallibe, as the only person remaining, wins Reward for his tribe.
I hope that made sense. If anyone has any questions, just ask.
Before I post the first number, I'll need one member of Olahraga to sit out. It doesn't really matter who, since it's a game of luck.
Once Olahraga has chosen, I'll post the first number.
And in case you guys were wondering what you are playing for...
Your reward is the right to steal one member of the other tribe. It could be very helpful in picking off the other tribe!
Answer 1: The only restrictions on each new number will be that it cannot be the same as the last one.
For example, if the first number is 7, the second number can be any number but 7. If the second number happened to be 4, then the third number could be anything except 4.
Is that what you were asking...? :?
Answer 2: I'll wait for the answers to be submitted, but after a couple of days, I'll probably just randomly choose for those who haven't submitted yet.
Inactivity = EVIL. :shock:
Hmm. True enough.
Ok. I'll give everyone a reasonable deadline, and if you haven't sent in your choice by then, you are eliminated from that round automatically.
But let's get this ball rolling. Pick who you wish to sit out, Olahraga.
But that's quite a few episodes along.
Sitting out for Olahraga: Vraak X.
I'll need the 14 castaways participating in the challenge to PM me whether they believe the next number will be higher or lower. I won't set a deadline yet, but we'll see how it goes for a couple of days.
Does anyone know if PBuG only has weekend access? I seem to remember him saying it somewhere before. I could be totally mistaken, though.
One-by-one, the castaways filed onto the beach, where fourteen wooden stumps sat in a row, planted firmly into the sparkling white sand, with a small chalkboard sitting in front of each one. It took a moment for the members of Olahraga to realize it: spork was gone. For a few minutes. the castaways milled about, talking nervously nervously, until Jeff Probst stepped out of the forest.
"Welcome to your first Reward Challenge, Survivors. This is a challenge you will all become quite familiar with, over time. This is how it will work: I'll roll this die," Jeff instructed, rolling a wooden, 10-sided die between his fingers, "and you must each write whether you think the next number I roll will be higher or lower than the last. Got it?"
The castaways nodded.
"But first, since Pekali is down by one member, I'll need one member of Olahraga to sit out of the challenge." There was a moment of hesitation from Olahraga, and then Vraak stepped forward.
"I'll sit out."
"Ok, then. Let's get started!" Probst said. The fourteen contestants took their seats on the logs, picked up their chalkboards, and prepared to write. Jeff dropped the die onto the table in front of him, watching it spin and finally settle on a number.
"The first number is... Seven!"
Immediately, the castways began to write their answers.
Olahraga
CoolBot -
LOWER
inHimshallibe -
HIGHER
lazarusmoth -
LOWER
MeMe -
LOWER
silgado106 -
LOWER
Xanthe -
ZONEACE -
AndrewS -
Cubsfan4life -
Flying Dutchman -
NanookTheWolf -
PBuG -
Save The Dragons -
HIGHER
Talitha -
LOWER
Jeff nodded as they revealed their answers, and rolled the die yet another time. The castways waited anxiously for the die to stop spinning, and as Jeff called out the number, several of their hearts sank.
SECOND NUMBER: 8
"I'm sorry, but everyone except inHim, Xanthe, and STD are out." With a mass grumble, eleven of the castaways stood and moved to the sidelines.
Jeff grinned at the three remaining in the challenge. "Time to pick again, guys."
I'll need Save The Dragons, inHimshallibe, and Xanthe to send me their new choice: will the next number be higher or lower than 8?
Jeff paused for a moment, waiting for the three remaining participants to write their answers. As soon as inHim put down his chalk, Jeff rolled the die once again, landing this time on a much more moderate number.
THIRD NUMBER: 5
"Alright, guys. Show me what you wrote," Jeff instructed. Immediately, Xanthe and inHim raised their chalkboards happily, revealing identical "LOWER"s. STD sighed, and glanced unhappily at his board, elicting a mass groan from Pekali.
But their spirits were raised when STD's frown transformed into a mischievous grin, and he lifted his board, also reading "LOWER", into the air. Jeff frowned disapprovingly at STD, and instructed them to erase their boards.
Olahraga
inHimshallibe -
LOWER
Xanthe -
LOWER
Pekali
Save The Dragons -
LOWER
"We'll do this again, you three. Choose once more."
Let's try this again, guys. :wink:
Probst waited once more for the three castways to scribble down their answers, their tiny pieces of chalk reduced to nearly nothing. After a moment of hesitation, they finished, and looked up at him nervously.
Jeff rolled the die, letting it dramatically slow to a stop before leaning over it and reading out the number that would change someone's fate for the rest of the game.
FOURTH NUMBER: 2
He gazed intently at the castways. "Let's see your answers, guys."
Xanthe raised her board disappointedly, revealing her answer: "HIGHER". Pekali stared at STD. He sighed dejectedly, this time, an actual sigh, and also displayed the answer "HIGHER".
It was about to get interesting.
All attention focused on inHim. For a moment, he said nothing, and then chuckled, leaping from his seat and exposing the only correct answer in the group: "LOWER".
Olahraga
inHimshallibe -
LOWER
Xanthe -
HIGHER
Pekali
Save The Dragons -
HIGHER
"Olahraga wins reward!" Jeff shouted as inHim ran over to his cheering tribe. Pekali, losing their second challenge in a row, was looking rather depressed. Talitha hugged STD, and whispered a consolance in his ear.
"Olahraga, for your reward, you may choose one member of Pekali to steal, and have them join your tribe, with no possibility of being stolen back."
Jeff stared at Pekali, hudding meekly in the corner, soon to be one less, and then at Olahraga, looking particularly confident.
"I'll give Olahraga a moment to make their decision."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Congratulations, Olahraga! Sorry, Pekali, but you're soon going to be down to six. Olahraga, please discuss who you wish to steal. Once you come to your decision, bold your choice to make it official, and that person will be one of you.

Olahraga gathered in the corner, discussing quietly. Several of them nodded their heads in agreement.

Meanwhile, Pekali stood huddled together, looking particularly unhappy. Very soon, yet another one of them would be gone, and they would be down to six.

Suddenly, Olahraga broke their huddle and faced Pekali with cold eyes. This could change the rest of the game for someone.

It was ZONEACE who spoke up for his tribe.

"We're taking STD into our tribe."

STD looked stricken, glancing at his old tribe one last time, receiving one last hug from Talitha, a few whispers of good luck, and then crossing over to the Olahraga tribe, becoming one of them.

It was done.

"STD is now a permanent member of Olahraga." Jeff said. "You guys can head back to camp."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Save The Dragons is now a member of the Olahraga tribe!
Take some time to talk to him, and I'll post the Immunity Challenge soon.
The name of the game is Thai 21!
There are 21 Flags, with the last flag being the Golden Flag.
I'll first ask each tribe to pick a representative for the challenge. We'll randomly decide which tribe goes first. Each round, the representatives must choose to take 1-3 flags. The representative who takes the last flag, the Golden Flag, wins immunity for their tribe!
So first, I'll need both tribes to choose their representative, preferably someone who knows how to play the game and is good at it.
Pekali was the first to arrive at the beach this time.
As they stepped out onto the sand, the challenge became painfully obvious to them. A line of twenty flags, alternating green and orange, stretched across the beach. The last flag, on the far right, was a brilliant gold in color.
Probst instructed them to take their seats on a wooden bench facing the flags, and they waited for Olahraga to arrive.
ZONEACE was the first to stride out of the trees, followed closely by MeMe, silgado, Xanthe, lazarus, CoolBot, inHim, Vraak, and bringing up the rear, a depressed-looking Save The Dragons. They sat on a bench next to Pekali, and Probst began to speak.
"Welcome to your second immunity challenge. The name of the game is Thai 21. You all know the rules, so we'll get right down to business. Before we start, I'll need a representative from each tribe."
Olahraga as a whole glanced around uneasily, but Pekali had no such problems. Cubs and PBuG raised their hands as one, glanced at each other sheepishly, and then PBuG put down his hand.
"Cubsfan4life will be the representative for Pekali," Jeff said, as Cubs left the bench and stepped forwards. "Olahraga, have you made your decision?"
MeMe and ZONEACE whispered to each other for a moment, and then grinned evilly.
"STD will be Olahraga's representative," ZONEACE stated. STD looked shocked, glancing at MeMe, who mouthed silently, "Now your fate is in your own hands." With a grimace, STD stepped heavily forward.
"Good!" Jeff smiled. "Now that we have our representatives, we'll flip a coin to see which tribe goes first." Jeff pulled a coin from his pocket, with OLAHRAGA engraved in one side, and PEKALI etched on the other. With a flick of his thumb, he let it fly in the air.
OLAHRAGA = 1
PEKALI = 2
And with that, Save The Dragons stepped forward to take his first flag.
With a resounding cheer from his tribe, Cubsfan seized the last remaining flag, the Golden Flag, from its place in the sand, hoisting it high into the air as the Pekali tribe celebrated their first victory.
STD slumped his head, having lost his third challenge in a row, and went to rejoin Olahraga, who was looking much less smug than they had only a day before.
Probst handed Cubs the Immunity Idol, which he accepted proudly.
"Pekali, you are immune! Olahraga, I'll see you guys at Tribal Council tonight. You can head back to camp."
And with that, the two tribes disappeared once again into the trees.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Congratulations, Pekali, on your first win! I'm sorry to say that Olahraga will be attending Tribal Council. I'll need everyone from Olahraga to submit their vote for who they wish to leave the game, and please give me the names of any alliances you may have formed, if you will. :)

Note: Because PBuG will be absent for a month or more, he was "injured" and had to be removed from the game.

For their first time, Olahraga stepped out of the forest, crossing into the clearing where Tribal Council was held. They each grabbed their torch, lowering it into the fire as was custom before taking squatting down atop their logs.

"Olahraga, welcome to your first Tribal Council. Anyone want to say anything before you vote?" Jeff asked.

No one spoke up. STD shook his head miserably and sighed.

Jeff blinked. "In that case, it's time to vote. MeMe, you're up first."

MeMe nodded solemnly, ascending up the stairs to the voting platform, and returning a minute or so later. Each castway followed suit, with lazarus capping the pen and taking his seat last.

Jeff retrieved the voting urn, pausing to give his obligatory instructions before reading the votes.

"The person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."

The first vote of the night was painfully obvious.

[
Save The Dragons
]

STD nodded and began to gather his belongings quietly.

[
Vraak X
]

That caught STD's attention slightly. He had heard Vraak's name tossed around, but he wasn't going to get his hopes up at this point.

Jeff pulled the next vote from the urn.

[
ZONEACE
]

Several people exchanged surprised glances. Where on earth had that vote come from?

[
Save The Dragons
]

Any hope that STD might have possessed crumbled at the sight of his second vote. He continued to pack his things.

[
Vraak X
]

Vraak nodded thoughtfully. He knew that he wasn't very close with the rest of his tribe, and that he would be receiving at least a couple of votes at this Tribal Council.

[
Vraak X
]

Olahraga began to shift their eyes away from Vraak slowly, except for STD, whose face was glowing with overjoyed surprise. Vraak smiled bitterly. His tribe had turned on him.

Realizing that all dramatic potential had been lost, an irritated Probst read off the next three votes very quickly.

[
Vraak X
]

[
Vraak X
]

"And the second person voted off of Survivor: The Solomon Islands..."

[
Vraak X
]

"Vraak, no need to read the last vote. I'll need you to bring me your torch." Jeff asked curtly.

Vraak calmly brought his torch slowly forward, not even batting an eyelid as Jeff extinguished it quickly. He turned towards his tribe one last time, and waved.

"Seeya, guys."

Vraak turned and walked down the ramp, disappearing into the darkness.

Jeff looked at the new Olahraga tribe, and at an obviously estatic STD.

"You guys have taken out your weakest link, and spared your hostage," Jeff said cryptically, glancing at each of them in turn before waving his hand dismissively. "You guys can head back to camp."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vraak X was voted out of the Olahraga tribe!
Once again, it's time for the Reward Challenge!
You know how this works. I'll post a number, and each person needs to submit whether they think the next number will be lower or higher. Those who are incorrect will be eliminated from the challenge.
And so...
FIRST NUMBER:
6
So send in your higher/lower choices by PM!
Ah, yes. I forgot about that. I'll need 2 people to sit out for Olahraga.
Since everyone except CoolBot and lazarusmoth have sent in their choices already, so is it ok with you guys if they sit out for your tribe?
You guys told me during the first Reward Challenge that you wanted those who didn't send in to be eliminated instead of having their selection chosen randomly, so I suppose PBuG will be eliminated. :?
I just received lazarusmoth's choice.
I'll send AndrewS a prod, but if he doesn't get it in by... Let's say, tomorrow, at 2:00 PM CST, then we'll start without him. :?
I'm really sorry about the delay, guys. The last few days have been crazy. I've had to study for a very difficult Pre-Calculus test, my computer at home has been screwing up, I have to take my permit test today, and I'm coming down with some kind of stomach virus.
I typed the results of the challenge at home. After I take my permit test, I'm going to see if I can skip the rest of the school day and go home. :wink: I'll try to post the results then, if my computer is working correctly.
So for now, I have to study for my permit. Wish me good luck!
The two tribes entered the challenge clearing, recognizing the set from their previous reward challenge. Twelve wooden stumps faced the podium where Jeff Probst was standing. Beside each stump sat an individual writing slate and a small piece of chalk. The Survivors took their seats on the stumps, with Olahraga sitting to the left, and Pekali to the right. MeMe and CoolBot sat chose to sit out for their tribe, resting on a nearby bench.
"It's time for your second reward challenge," Jeff instructed. "The rules are exactly the same as last time, and you'll be playing for the exact same reward: to permanently steal a member of the opposing tribe. You guys know how this works, so let's begin."
Jeff tossed the dice onto the podium, revealing the first number: 6.
Immediately the castaways began to scribble down their answers as to whether they believed the next number would be higher or lower. After a moment, the writing stopped, and Jeff rolled the second number.
Nine of the twelve groaned in exasperation. Lazarus, silgado, Xanthe, ZONEACE, AndrewS, Cubsfan, Flying Dutchman, Nanook, and PBuG rose and joined MeMe and CoolBot on the sidelines. They had chosen wrongly.
Olahraga
inHimshallibe - HIGHER
lazarusmoth - LOWER
Save The Dragons - HIGHER
silgado106 - LOWER
Xanthe - LOWER
ZONEACE - LOWER
Pekali
AndrewS - LOWER
Cubsfan4life - LOWER
Flying Dutchman - LOWER
NanookTheWolf - LOWER
PBuG - ?
Talitha - HIGHER
But a few had chosen correctly. inHim and STD, both who had chosen correctly last round, were still in the game for Olahraga. Talitha alone remained in the challenge for Pekali.
Jeff nodded, and shook the dice once again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Only inHim, STD, and Talitha remain in the challenge! The new number is
7
. I'll need you three to send in your higher/lower picks.

Good luck!

Jeff rolled the die again. It rolled slowly to a stop, revealing the number
5
. Talitha and STD hooted triumphantly, immediately revealing their answers of "LOWER", but inHim smiled sheepishly, turning over his "HIGHER" and moving to sit with the others already removed from the challenge.

Olahraga

inHimshallibe -
HIGHER

Save The Dragons -
LOWER

Pekali

Talitha -
LOWER

Now it was only Talitha and STD.

Original Pekali vs. Original Pekali.

But Jeff was beginning to get exasperated, so he would try to finish it up quick. It was time for the last round.

"This is how the final round will work, you two," Jeff explained. "The current number is 5. Unlink the past rounds, however, the two tribes
must
choose different predictions. One tribe will pick higher, and the other must pick lower. You two can discuss which one you wish to pick, or you can go ahead and state which one you want. Then I'll roll the die, and we'll finally have our winner."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Talitha and STD: you may discuss with each other in the thread which one you wish to choose. Only one of you can answer higher, and the other must answer lower. Once you have made your decision, just say (bolded, of course), "
I choose _______
", and then I'll roll the die, and we'll have one clear winner.
Good luck, you two!
I
did
delete the 3 post. If it were 3, then the first person to get online would see that and choose higher, and the other person would probably be screwed. Since this it the first time it has come down to 1 person vs. 1 person, I rolled until I got a 5 to make it equal, so both teams had a good chance of winning, regardless of whether they picked higher or lower and whether they submitted their answer first.
So basically, the five was to soften it up. If it ever comes down to 1 vs. 1 again, I'll just leave the original rolled number.
Jeff rolled one final time, and this time, the die landed upon its highest roll yet: a
10
[/b].
STD scowled, swearing lightly under his breath. They had lost it.
"PEKALI! WINS REWARD!!!" Jeff Probst exclaimed, glad for the challenge to finally be over. Talitha beamed, rising from her seat as Pekali rushed towards her and lifted her high into the air. Olahraga was looking mightily annoyed, as this was their second loss in a row. And now, one of their own would be making the journey to Pekali.
After quieting the celebratory cheers of Pekali, Jeff began to speak.
"Congratulations on winning reward, Pekali. Olahraga, tough luck, but one of you is soon going to be joining the other tribe. Pekali, I'll give you a few minutes to discuss who you would like to steal."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Congratulations, Pekali! Please discuss who you'd like to steal in the thread, and then make your choice by bolding "
Pekali chooses to steal _____
". Good luck, everyone.

Note: I'm sorry if the "3 roll" thing confused you guys. It was a one-time thing to try and make it equal (albeit it still wasn't entirely equal in retrospect, but at least it was more equal than the 3. :? ). No more softening the blow, though. Now that you guys have an idea of how the 1 person vs. 1 person thing goes, we'll stick to regular rolls from now on.

Talitha stepped forward as the representative for Pekali.

"We choose to steal... MeMe!" Talitha beckoned, breaking out in a big grin. MeMe danced over to her new tribe happily, dropping her orange buff and happily accepting a green one in its place. She took a moment to hug all of her new tribemates before Jeff quieted everyone down, and began to speak.

"Now tha-"

Suddenly, there came a very unusual noise from someone on the Pekali tribe. Talitha screamed, and everyone backed off quickly, revealing PBuG. He was writhing violently on the floor, clearly caught up in some kind of seizure. Jeff screamed to one of the cameramen for a medic, but it was too late. PBuG gave one last spastic leap into the air and lay still on the sand.

"Is he... Dead?" Cubs whispered, his mouth agape.

Jeff felt for his pulse, and shook his head. He was alive, but barely. Over the crashing waves, Jeff could hear the drone of the approaching medical helicopter. Help was coming.

---

Many tears were shed by both tribes as PBuG was lifted into the helicopter, his unkempt hair twirling in the propeller's wind. After the helicopter had lifted off, flying at full speed towards the nearest hospital, Jeff addressed the dispirited castaways.

"Due to a medical incident, PBuG has been removed from the game. However, it wouldn't be fair for Pekali to continue a member short, so we've decided to issue a replacement."

Pekali looked on, astounded, as Pie_is_good stepped out of the forest, wearing a smile and a green Pekali buff. He waved to Pekali, and stood beside Jeff.

"From this point on, Pie_is_good will be replacing PBuG on the Pekali tribe. So in essence, Pekali, you will be getting two new members today: Pie and MeMe."

Jeff motioned him forward, and Pie joined the ranks of the green-clad tribe, standing amongst them.

"You guys can head back to camp."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MeMe is now a permanent member of Pekali, and PBuG is now replaced by Pie_is_Good!
So get to know your new tribemates, and I'll post the immunity challenge whenever you're ready.
The two tribes, once again even in numbers, marched onto the Immunity Challenge Beach. Standing alone in the center of the beach was a grinning Jeff Probst. The castways took their places on their respective mats and stared attentively as he began to speak.
"Welcome, Survivors, to your third Immunity Challenge. Pekali, I'll need that back," Jeff said, taking back the Immunity Idol.
"Now this challenge is different that those that we've done before. While the past challenges have involved luck, intelligence, and speed, this challenge is simply a test of exactly
how far
you're willing to go to win immunity for your tribe."
The castaways glanced at each other uneasily. Jeff's grin grew slightly at their anticipation.
"But before we begin, I'll need each tribe to choose an order for your tribemates to compete in."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Before the challenge can begin, I'll need each tribe to discuss amongst themselves an order for them to compete in. You may put forth any ideas, but once your choices are bolded, there will be no changing it.

Good luck.

Jeff stepped back, allowing the two tribes a moment to discuss their order.

Immediately, Pekali huddled together, whispering intently. After a minute or so, they seemed to have reached some sort of concensus, breaking their huddle and forming a line. In the front was Nanook, followed by MeMe, Talitha, Cubs, Flying Dutchman, Andrew, and with the newcomer Pie bringing up the rear.

Olahraga, meanwhile, finally settled upon their order. Lazarus led the vanguard. Behind him were Xanthe, silgado, ZONE, CoolBot, InHim, and lastly a sheepish-looking Save The Dragons.

Jeff nodded and cleared his throat, beginning to explain the challenge.

"This challenge is might be the simplest one in the game. This is how it will work. You will pair off with the person who is in your same position in line on the other tribe. You'll step forward, and you'll be presented with a task. If you accept the task, your tribe will be awarded a point. If you do not, no points. At the end of seven rounds, the tribe with the most points wins immunity. Any questions?"

The castaways shook their heads no, and the challenge was underway.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Basically, you'll be given an unwholesome "task", for lack of a better word. If you accept it, your tribe gets a point. After all of you have gone, the tribe with the most points wins!
Here are the match-ups:
1.
lazarusmoth
2.
3.
"Lazarus and Nanook, you two are up first," Jeff motioned.
Lazarus and Nanook stepped forward from their lines and faced each other, a competitive gleam in each ot their eyes. Jeff pulled a card from his pocket, squinting his eyes to read their challenge.
"Your first task is... You must agree to publically reveal your vote at your next Tribal Council."
Both Nanook and lazarus nodded immediately. "I agree," they said in tandem, and moved to the back of their tribes' respective lines.
"Xanthe and MeMe, you two are up next," Jeff said, summoning them forward. The two women faced each other, grinning. Seeing that they were ready, Jeff pulled out his next card and began to read.
"For your second task... You must agree to forfeit your vote at your next Tribal Council."
Simply post whether you agree or disagree. Good luck, ladies.
MeMe and Xanthe discussed their task for a moment--something Jeff had not expected. His smile widened. It was starting to get interesting.
After a moment of deliberation, they turned their attention back towards Jeff.
"I agree," Xanthe stated.
"Me too," MeMe responded. The girls shared a hug and returned to the back of their tribes' lines.
"We're still tied 2-2. Nanook and lazarus have both agreed to reveal their votes at their next Tribal Councils, and Xanthe and MeMe will both be foreiting their vote at their next Tribal Council," Jeff informed.
"Silgado and Talitha, you're next."
Jeff pulled the next card from his pocket as the two opponents stepped forward, facing each other. Jeff waited a moment, making sure they were ready, and read the next task.
"For your third task... You must each agree to
honestly
reveal who you have voted for in your past Tribal Councils."
Task #3. Good luck, you two.
MeMe wrote:Nanook - I think it's because you all are on different teams at the moment. I read it to mean you each have to reveal once -- but it could be in two different TCs.
That's what I meant, Nanook. The 's' at the end was just because you are on different tribes, and will be performing your tasks at different times.
And don't worry, Talitha. I have everyones' voting history written down. Once silgado has posted whether he agrees or not, I'll tell everyone who you voted for.
"With that settled... Talitha voted for
spork
at the first Tribal Council, with silgado more recently casting his vote for
Vraak X
," Jeff told.
Talitha and silgado nodded, and returned to the back of their lines.
"The score is once again tied at 3-3."
Jeff motioned forward the next two in line: ZONEACE and Cubs. The two opponents shook hands and winked at each other before turning their attention to Jeff, who held the next task card before him.
"For your fourth task," Jeff read, "you must each agree to receive a vote at your next tribal council."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There's your next task. And for clarification, it doesn't mean that you will be voting for yourself, or one of your tribemates will be voting for you. It means that there will be one extra vote that goes automatically to you.

Good luck.

ZONEACE and Cubs looked at each other, warily. Finally, ZONEACE caved.

"I agree to have a vote cast against me," he said regretfully with a sigh.
"Me too," Cubsfan agreed, not wanting to give Olahraga the lead.

"We're still tied up at 4-4. At this point, Nanook and lazarus have both agreed to reveal their votes at their next Tribal Councils, Xanthe and MeMe will both be foreiting their vote at their next Tribal Council, and ZONEACE and Cubsfan will both receive an extra vote against them at their next Tribal Councils," Jeff reminded, and motioned the next pair forward.

CoolBot and FD discussed for a moment, seeming to come to some sort of mutual decision. Jeff grimaced. If they kept it tied, he was going to personally beat the living tar out of them.

"I disagree," CoolBot said warily, glancing over at FD. Flying Dutchman grinned his largest, sweetest smile.

"I agree to the task, Jeff," he winked. CoolBot frowned angrily, but Jeff's chuckled inwardly. It was finally getting interesting.

"The score is now 5-4 in favor of Pekali," Jeff tallied as CoolBot and FD moved to the back of their lines. "Thus far, Nanook and lazarus have both agreed to reveal their votes at their next Tribal Councils, Xanthe and MeMe will both be foreiting their vote at their next Tribal Council, ZONEACE and Cubsfan will both receive an extra vote against them at their next Tribal Councils, and Flying Dutchman will forfeit the first two individual Immunity Challenges."

I'd do the "choice by PM" thing, but I think the potential for betrayal makes the game more interesting. :)

Or maybe that's just me.

In any case, let's here what Andrew has to say.

Ok, I'm putting a deadline on this. Andrew has said that he agrees with whatever inHim will say, so inHim, you have exactly 24 hours from this post to decide whether you agree or disagree. If you do not,
BOTH
tribes will go to Tribal Council, or I will think up another punishment if need be. :x

"Have you made your choices yet?!" Jeff asked irritably. Surprising, this time he got an answer.

"I agree to forfeit all reward challenges," Andrew accepted. inHim considered this a moment, and shook his head sadly.

"I'm going to have to disagree. There's no telling what STD could be asked to do."

Jeff grinned, glad that the challenge was finally over.

"With a score of 6-4, it is impossible for Olahraga to win. Therefore, STD and Pie will not have to take their turns. PEKALI WINS IMMUNITY!"

Pekali leaped into the air, dancing with joy. Jeff handed Andrew the Immunity Idol, and the tribe kissed it happily. Jeff then turned to Olahraga, who looked at him with downcast eyes.

"Olahraga, I'll be seeing you at Tribal Council tomorrow. You guys can head back to camp."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Final Score
1. reveal votes - LAZARUS and NANOOK
2. forfeit vote - XANTHE and MEME
3. reveal voting history - TALITHA and SILGADO
4. agree to receive a vote at the next TC - ZONEACE and CUBSFAN
5. forfeit first two individual immunity challenges - FLYING DUTCHMAN
6. forfeit all reward challenges - ANDREW
Olahraga, submit to me your vote via PM of who you wish to vote out of your tribe.
In case some of you were feeling paranoid, the only time I would have ever used that information against you was at this Immunity Challenge. From now on, the only reason I want to know is so that I can understand who's backstabbing who, and basically what is going on behind the scenes.
One-by-one, the seven members of Olahraga filed once again into Tribal Council, each carrying a finely-carved torch.
But one of their number would not be returning home tonight.
They sat down at their tree stumps, glancing around and murmuring for a few moments before quieting down and turning their attention to Jeff.
"Welcome back to Tribal Council, guys," Jeff said, spreading his hands before him. "Although I suppose you're not that happy to be here. Now, earlier we had a challenge where several of you sacrificed quite a bit. Unfortunately, that's going to come back and haunt some of you for a very long time, and might even cost you the game. Per the challenge, lazarus must reveal his vote, Xanthe must forfeit her vote, and ZONEACE must receive an automatic vote at this Tribal Council."
Jeff opened a piece of parchment, wrote
[
ZONEACE
]
on it in large letters, and placed it in the urn, which sat on a table nearby.
"lazarus, come up here and cast your vote," Jeff requested.
lazarus walked up to Jeff, and wrote
[
inHimshallibe
]
on hisparchment, placing it in the urn with an apologetic look. inHim winced and lowered his head, but said nothing.
Jeff took the urn to the voting area, and returned a moment later.
"Time to vote. inHim, you're up first."
After each player had returned from voting, with the exception of Xanthe and lazarus, Jeff once more began to speak.
"The person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
Jeff dipped his hand into the urn and pulled out the vote that he had cast.
[
ZONEACE
]
The next vote belonged to lazarus.
[
inHimshallibe
]
The third vote, however, was a bit of a surprise.
[
CoolBot
]
"ZONEACE, inHim, and CoolBot are tied with one vote each," Jeff said, and revealed the next vote.
[
ZONEACE
]
ZONEACE stirred uncomfortably in his seat. He just knew that extra vote was going to be trouble.
[
inHimshallibe
]
"ZONEACE and inHimshallibe are tied with two votes each. Only two votes remain," Jeff said.
[
ZONEACE
]
Oh, please let it be a tie,
ZONEACE though, crossing his fingers
. Please let it be another vote for inHim.
Tonight, however, the odds were not in his favor.
"The third person voted out of Survivor: The Solomon Islands..."
[
ZONEACE
]
"ZONEACE, I'll need you to bring me your torch," Jeff requested softly. ZONEACE stood, and walked stiffly to Jeff, placing his torch in the slot, and not even watching as it was suddenly extinguished.
"ZONEACE... The tribe has spoken."
And with that, ZONEACE turned on his heel and left, not even sparing the tribe who had betrayed him one final glance.
Jeff waited until he was gone before speaking again.
"It seems that strength and dedication to your tribe aren't all that they seem. You guys can head back to camp."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ZONEACE, you have been voted out of the tribe. :(

To the rest of you, good job at making it past another Tribal Council.

Time for your next Reward Challenge, everyone! This time, however, it will be a bit different.

All you have to do is fill out the following survey about the fellow members of your tribe. You may put your own name down if you'd like. The only rule is this:
NO COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR TRIBEMATES ABOUT YOUR ANSWERS
! This should be completely individual. PM me your answers. I'll set the deadline for Christmas Day at noon EST, but try to get them in before then! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Survivor Survey!
1. Who is the nicest Survivor on your tribe?
2. Who is the meanest Survivor on your tribe?
3. Which Survivor on your tribe do you trust the most?
4. Which Survivor on your tribe do you trust the least?
5. Which Survivor on your tribe deserves to be here the most?
6. Which Survivor on your tribe deserves to be here the least?
7. Which Survivor on your tribe is most likely to win the game?
8. Which Survivor on your tribe will certainly lose the game?
9. Which Survivor on your tribe are you the closest too?
10. Which Survivor on your tribe are you the least closest too?
11. Which Survivor on either tribe do you
NOT
want to win the game?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good luck, everyone, and be sure to send them in quick!

Silgado hasn't been online in quite a while, probably due to the holidays. I'm not sure why Andrew hasn't sent his, and I need to check something with Xanthe.

Try to hurry up, folks...

Yes, there is, but I've been really busy with school and I've barely had enough time to work with my regular games as it is. Please bear with me on this.
