You suck at math.mask man wrote:Ahem,
people 1-10 must all vote person number 11(It doesn't matter how we put it, and the fact that it is-I'll save my breath. this works.)
there is a 1 in 10 chance of person number 1 voting person number 11.
1/10*10=1/100.
for 10 players,
1/9*9=1/81
for 9 players
1/8*8=1/64
8, 1 in 49
7, 1 in 36
6, 1 in 25
5, 1 in 16
4, 1 in 9
3, 1 in 4
2, 1 in 1(obv, they are forced to win together)
So budja, aytcurrent it is 1 in a hundred, NOT a million.
Although chances are I did this whole thing wrong.
We literately have a 1% chance of ending the game right now.
Player 1 has a 1 in 10 chance of voting Player X, who would be the winner.
Player 2 then has a 1 in 10 chance of voting the same player as player 1, thus making it a 1 in 100 chance then.
It is not 1/10*10, it is 1/10^10, you nitwit. That is a 1 in 10 billion chance for a single person to win.-

Which player it is is irrelevant.chenhsi wrote:Really?
Case 1: Player 1 can vote for any player. All the others, except for the player that player 1 voted for, has to vote for the same player as player 1: 1/10 ^ (11 - 2 = 9)
Case 2: Everyone except for player 1 votes for player 1: 1/10 ^ 10
11 / (10^10)
Alternatively:
There are 11 players. Each player has a 1 / (10^10) chance of winning. Multiply. 11 / (10^10)Last edited by JDodge on Tue Jul 21, 2009 9:03 pm, edited 2 times in total.-

You guys can all stay, I just want to give you all some insight.
Reckoner, get a backbone in this game, you're playing like a baby. Drench, you're getting rode hard, youwillbe put away wet. Crazy, educate yourself, you need one honey. You're in dire need of one.
Blow this house up, folks. Blow this house up.-

THE PLAN FOR UNAN1MOUS DOMINATION
1. I decided right off that the best way to ensure a victory would be to ally with 1 person whom I felt would likely be a threat to me later on but wouldn't beat me head to head. It was relatively easy to pick this person; I decided with near-immediacy upon Drench due to his shaky past in screwing me over in games I'm not even in. So began my slow plot.
2. I figured the best way to make it to the end would be to fly under the radar as much as possible while picking off people who were doing the same. It is for this reason that I tried hard early on to get rid of Crazy.
3. Fast-forward to the first elimination phase. Time to make my move. I begin by forging an alliance with Crazy, lying and saying RECKONER lied to me about voting me for the plurality (my plan was that I would say I had Drench and Keyblade's votes; if questioned on Keyblade posting in thread that he was voting RECKONER I would have claimed a cover-up to hide us working together; in reality, I did get Drench and RECKONER's votes while convincing Drench to get rid of Keyblade.) and claiming RECKONER was the sole vote to inactive Crazy (that was me). I then move to Erik, trying to convince him to vote me next Unan1mous phase because A. I didn't inactive him and B. if he did I'd fight to keep him in it instead of having him eliminated.
4. It all kind of blew up, so I wanted to shake things up a bit. Hence my speech, which was basically just a copy of this.
