THE MOAT:

First you must cross the moat. The first four teams to cross the moat will advance!
How will they cross the moat today?




Instructions:

You each have an inner tube attached to a rope on the other side of the moat.
To cross the moat post:

[Team/Member] pulls on rope [Team/Member] advances 2 feet.
[Green Monkeys/Kirk Fogg] pulls on rope [Green Monkeys/Kirk Fogg] advances 2 feet.

Repeat this four more times for a total of five times equaling 10 feet total.

You must wait at least one minute before you post again.

Once the first partner reaches the other side they must toss the inner tube back to their partner. To do so post as such:

Madrugus was a sailor at heart. He and his crew were to set off from Spain in an attempt to go to Mongolia. However, Madrugus and his crew knew the chances of him being able to get the funding for the trip was slim. Madrugus went to Queen Ithania and asked “If you could spare anything at all for my crew, we would be greatly appreciative.” To which the Queen responded “Why certainly, but first you must show why this rendezvous is a worthwhile one.” Write me a letter of what you plan on doing, and I’ll see if it’s worthy.” The Queen gave him a blank scroll to record his thoughts and return to her. Madrugus, unable to write or read called on his trusted friend Spirow to write down his thoughts. As soon as Spirow was done writing, Madrugus quickly sprinted back to the castle. Upon his arrival, the guards stopped him and asked why he was there. He quickly responded “I am here to procure the goods for a trip.” The third guard gave Madrugus a stern look before begrudgingly letting him pass. Upon showing Queen Ithania his plans, she quickly gave him a glance and denied his request for what he was asking. “I’ll give you half of what you asked for” She stated. “Anything at all is fine” Madrugus responded with an eager look. He then left with the scroll to report back the good news. Upon his arrival, Madrugus and his crew bought a round of ale in celebration. He didn’t have money, so he paid with the scroll that contained what his crew would be receiving. The next day, Madrugus and his crew were all ready to go until they realized they had not attained the goods they were promised. Madrugus quickly went to the Queen to plead for goods. She offered to give him 1/4th of what he originally asked for. He agreed, and she obliged by giving him some fresh water, and sundry items. They then set sail for Mongolia on the S.S. Sinet in search of vast riches. A week into the trip a hurricane formed and tipped over their boat. The scroll Madrugus used to pay for drinks were handed down from generation to generation. Now it is in the temple!

In the temple games teams will be competing for pendants of life. The winning team will need those pendants to protect them from the dreaded Temple Guards!

The first two games will be for a half pendant of life.

The third game will be for a full pendant of life.

Temple Game #1

Each of you must climb up this slippery surface and pull a water bucket down, and slide back down. The first person to successfully do this 5 times, or the person further along in 10 minutes wins a half pendant of life.

To climb up the surface type as such:

[Team member] begins ascent up surface [1/5]
When you hit 5/5 you must then post the following:
[Team member] pulls bucket down, and slides down to the bottom.

You must repeat that 5 times. First person to complete this challenge wins a half pendant of life.

There is no time you have to wait before you can post again. It’s all about speed here.

Temple Game #2

In this challenge teams will be crawling through a tunnel and placing scrolls into a basket.
To crawl through the tunnels simply post as such:
[Team member] crawls over hump [1/3]
When you hit [3/3] you must then place the item in the basket as such:
[Team member] Places scroll in basket [# of scrolls in basket]
You must then crawl back through the tunnel before starting again by simply repeating:
[Team member] crawls over hump [1/3]
When you arrive back at the start you must pick up a scroll as such:
[Team member] picks up scroll.

There is no time you have to wait before you can post again. It’s all about speed here.

This process is to be repeated. The team with the most scrolls in their basket at the end of 3 minutes wins!

Temple Game #3

Both team members will be participating in this final Temple Game worth a full pendant of life!

The two of you must have good teamwork in order to complete this challenge.

One person will place a ball in between their feet and both partners will then swing out to the middle where they must transfer the ball to the other partner who will then place the ball in their respective basket.

The first person will have to place the ball in between their feet before the partners swing to the middle. They will do this as such:
[Team member] places ball between feet.

After this is accomplished the two teammates must; at the same time (during same minute) must type:

[Team member] swings toward the middle.

If both teammates swing toward the middle at the same time, then the next action can take place. If you don’t do it at the same minute, you must try again.

[Team member with ball] transfers ball to [Team member without ball]
[Team member without ball] Receives ball from [Team member with ball]
[Kirk Fogg] Transfers ball to [Olmec]
[Olmec] Receives ball from [Kirk Fogg]

That action must also be performed at the same time(same minute) for it to be successful. If it isn’t performed at the same time, you must start over from the beginning.

The first team to complete this 3 times will win a full pendant of life.
