The List

There are an even number of players. Say there are 16 players for this example. Each week, each player sends me a List of each of his fellow players from #1 to last (#15 in the example). There then is a challenge. The person who does the worst (#16) is immediately eliminated.

#1-7 are automatically safe for the week. I look at #1's list, and find the highest ranked person that isn't safe yet, and he is saved by #1. I repeat this all the way through #7's List. The person not saved is also eliminated, and a new round will begin.

There is a Final 2 and a jury vote with the most recent 7 eliminated contestants to determine the winner. The winner will receive $100,000 for each jury vote (s)he receives while the runner up will receive $20,000 for each jury vote (s)he receives with a guarantee of $20,000.

Since I anticipate more than 16 players inning, you will have to post some basic information in thread while inning:

How much of your time/devotion are you willing to put in for this game?

Hello List Contestants! It is time for your challenge. It will be a standard game of Hurt and Heal! You may Hurt or Heal once per hour (defined as x:00 to x:59). You will each start with 10 points. Each hour, you may either HEAL a person by adding one points to their score, or HURT ONE person by subtracting TWO points to their score. Scores can go negative and probably will.

You may not hurt nor heal the same person consecutively.

Please post an updated standings list with each post.

Obviously, first place will go to who has the most points at the end of 48 hours, second place second most, third place third most, etc. If there is a tie among points, the person who hurt and heal the MOST will win in case of a tie. In case that is tied as well, the person who was healed by more distinct people will win. If that is tied as well, I will discount the latest hurt/heals one by one until the people are no longer tied, in which case the higher total will win.

You may start hurting and healing at Midnight EDT (in 1 hour 38 min) and the challenge will run 48 hours. Good luck!

This next List challenge is a Two-Parter.

Part one will be the SPAM PHASE and a chance to secure your safety for good. I will be PMing you all a link to a QuickTopic with your username in the title. You have 24 hours to spam the QuickTopic as much as possible. It doesn't matter what the posts contain, just post as much as possible. You may give your links out to whoever you want, and anyone may post in them.

Any posts after 8PM EDT tomorrow or a little less than 24 hours from now will not be counted.

Part two will be a classic challenge that I and other people have run in the past with a twist. Part two will somehow pair you all into groups of two and rank those groups. Part two will start PROMPTLY AT MIDNIGHT EDT Friday/Saturday (the very last minute of Friday/first minute of Saturday EDT or a little less than 28 hours from now).

It is advised you be there at midnight.

After 24 hours have elapsed, I will post the exact details of Part 2.

After Part 2, you will be divided into 6 ranked groups of 2. Whoever spammed the most in your QuickTopic topic in Part 1 will secure the higher placing. So even if you are in the bottom group, as long as you spammed more than the other person in the group, you will be safe from the Challenge elimination! The difference between 5th (safe for both eliminations this round) and 6th (vulnerable at Temple) will also be decided by who spammed more! So spamming won't be crucial at all to the majority of you, but will be potentially determine whether you go home or not so it is up to you to decide how much you want to spam.

Ok guys, sorry about that I collapsed after giving blood on only 2 hours of sleep.

So I am postponing the challenge until midnight tomorrow (20 hours 20 min from now) but I will be posting the rules now, and the challenge will automatically start at midnight.

This is the standard last person to post is out challenge with a twist. At midnight, everyone must post. The last person to do so will be eliminated. However, unlike previous iterations of this challenge, the next round will not start immediately. Instead, the last person will chose to ELIMINATE a person along with them. They will then be the lowest ranked group. As soon as the last person chooses a person to eliminate with him, the next round starts immediately, and it repeats until only 2 people remain who are officially the highest ranked group. If at any point anyone takes longer than 24 hours either to pick someone to eliminate or for everyone to post, I'll step in and make elimination stipulations. Good luck, and sorry about that again.

For those watching, here was the challenge:

I'm going to give you a link to an image on Photobucket. The image will be of AVATARS of the cast/mod of a game, except one player will be MISSING. Your job is to guess that person and enter their username (all lowercase, no spaces) where it says "thelist" in the url. This will take you to the next one. You'll continue until you find the image of a word; when you find the word, IM me and time will stop.

Five of the seven forums with games with mods/players will be represented. No forum will be represented more than once; the avatar representing the Mod will ALWAYS be present, the missing avatar will always belong to a player.

List Competitors, your final challenge is in three parts.

Part One: Ghosts from the Past

Each eliminated player may choose to haunt one player of their choosing. That player will be disadvantaged the # that they were on the eliminated player's List when the eliminated player was eliminated. However, each haunting must be approved by a member of the Final 4 (post your approval in thread). Each person may only be disadvantaged by a maximum of four people. Each person may only approve a maximum of four hauntings. Eliminated players have only 72 hours from this post to haunt someone. Hauntings must be approved within 24 hours or they will fail.

Part Two: Poll

I have created a poll. Gather as many votes for yourself as possible. As per Part 1 though, you will be subtracted the # of votes that you are disadvantaged. For each ten final votes, I will add an hour onto your final time. This poll will run until Sunday night (over 72 hours from now). This advantage is capped at a four hour advantage.

Part Three: Number Frenzy

This is good ol' Endurance on a rotating machine. To begin, YOU CANNOT POST ON THE MINUTES OF :00 NOR :01. Simply post

Absolutely no editing during this competition. If you forget to bold or make a spelling mistake or forget to substitute Username out, fine. Just don't edit. If you post early, you will not be penalized but still have to post again at the correct time. As soon as you miss a post though, you are out.

You have 80 hours from this post to begin enduring. As long as you begin before the 80 hours is up, you may continue as long as you wish. Any questions post in thread ASAP.
