Have you played in a game of mine in the past? If so, which?
None yet.

Are you willing to remain active?
Absolutely.

How often do you check MafiaScum?
Daily, and multiple times every day.

The whole alt thing is just seems like a huge pain in the ass. So that's why (unless I'm hydra-ing with someone or someones), I'll never make one.

6 pm is midnight for me.

If you could do it earlier in the day, like 10:30 am or so, it should work. My partner and I are in the same time zone. I'm sure we could both make anything after about 4:30 or 5 pm our time (10:30 or 11 am EST).

I thought it was interesting how a while back on that "who knows survivor" challenge, Crazy picked only himself, and cybele sent only myself and Starbuck. I figured there'd be more survivor fans for some reason.
I'm a huge survivor fan. As soon as that challenge came up, I volunteered for it.

Absolutely not. I don't feel that the time given was long enough. I had quite a busy day due to work (military stuff) and I was working on my submission when I hit my Watched Topics to discover that the immunity challenge was over.

My god, can I not have a busy weekend so I don't miss deadlines?

This is such crap.

Normally, if Shadow PMs me because I haven't submitted anything, it'll pop up on my phone due to my PMs being notified to me through email.

This is just goddamn annoying now.

Like Devotress, I'm new to the Mish Mash crew, so I really don't know a lot of you. My apologies for not having much to say about those that I don't know.

OhGodMyLife - Other tribe's first vote. Played mafia once or twice with you, so it would have been nice to see you kept around.

jmj3000 - You just weren't around. I really wasn't sorry to see you go.

animorpherv1 - Was the other tribe's second vote. I know animo from mafia games, but he is a persistant lurker. So his being voted out wasn't a surprise.

skitzer - Was the other tribe's third vote. I really didn't see much action from her. I could see why they booted her.

pickemgenius - Was the other tribe's fouth vote. I didn't have any contact with pickem.

dahill1 - Was the other tribe's fifth vote. I didn't have any contact with him.

TheLonging - Now I know (due to my time difference) that there was a few challenges that I wasn't able to be around for, but TheLonging didn't participate at all. It was good riddance honestly. It's just too bad that you are taking up a valuable jury spot.

Crazy - We had an early alliance, but you up and abandoned it, and I'm still not sure why. Once we switched back from one tribe into two, you seemed to change your stance of the game. These things were my reasons for voting you.

tubby216 - I know you pretty well from mafia games and you were the first vote of the other tribe after cc.com switched us back to two separate tribes. The vote was definitely split when you were voted. It's too bad that your tribe couldn't have come to a more concise vote. I was sad to see you go.

crywolf20084 - I had nothing against you. You sent me the code for the reward challenge, which showed to me that you trusted me, which was my reasoning for not telling anyone the code. I was very sad to see you go.

mask man - It was just time for you to go.

Sudo_Nym - You shouldn't have gone.

chauchaudotcom - You kicked me out of my own team, forcing me to be the odd man out. We never really talked at all, so I'm not quite sure why this occurred. But it seems that you sealed your own fate.

Rally Vincent - I'm sorry you couldn't be up here with Flava and I. You and I let someone get into our heads and thus, neither of us got immunity. But I stayed true to you till the end.

Charnel - We never really talked at all, but it was either you or me. Nothing personal.

I do have people that I trust, but I don't believe that I couldn't be backstabbed.

From some of the responses to our torch walk, I got the feeling that there is some vengeance waiting to be had.

Flava, you shouldn't have been flip/flopping on the alliance that we had all game. I trusted you and when I found out that you wanted to be rid of me, I had to cover my own ass.

Cybele's answer to his tribal question about "my and Devotress's little alliance" couldn't have been more wrong. Devotress is the one that got both you and I to the final 4.

I think Devotress should take me because we have been honest with each other from the get go. She was understanding about a lot of things with me during the game, such as when I didn't want to place a vote on people in my alliance. We've trusted each other for a good portion of the game, and I hope that it continues.

I expect Devotress to take who she feels she should take. Although, I may have just opened up myself for a blindside. Either way, it's been an awesome game and I've had a blast.

Good evening everyone.

This game is my first big time Mish Mash game. I didn't expect to make it to the final 2. So many thanks to Devotress and to all of you for that. I'm excited to have come this far.

I will say that I know that my time difference was a big difficulty to overcome. For those that felt that I was carried at points due to it, you are probably right, but I tried to make it up for that in other challenges that I could participate in. The Survivor Trivia challenge comes to mind here, as well as a few others.

I have no animosity towards anyone on the jury. I tried my best to remain true and loyal to those that I pledged my allegiance. But once I started being told that I was on the chopping block, then I went on the defensive, as I am sure anyone else would have done if they were in my shoes. I think the worst thing a person can ever have in their mind in a Survivor game is that they are safe. The minute that you start thinking that is the minute that you are probably going to be blindsided.

Crazy

On the 2-1-1, that was definitely all orchestrated by Devotress. I just tried to give her the encouragement to do it.
Crazy wrote: Starbuck, you say your time zone was a disadvantage in challenges, but was your strategic game good enough to compensate for that? If Sunkist had lost more challenges, how would you have fared? I'm asking because I noticed chau essentially "kicked" you out of the tribe; that can't be a good sign.

I believe my strategic game was good enough to compensate or I wouldn't be here right now. I'm not sure how I would have fared if Sunkist lost more challenges. That's a definite "what if" scenario.

Also, Chau actually answered the kicking out part here with the following...
chauchaudotcom wrote:
Starbuck wrote:chauchaudotcom - You kicked me out of my own team, forcing me to be the odd man out. We never really talked at all, so I'm not quite sure why this occurred. But it seems that you sealed your own fate.
Nothing personal, really. I had to kick someone out if I wanted a re-merge and I was debating between you and tubby. And this:
cyb wrote:tubby216 - Really sorry to see your go. You were a powerhouse during challenges. Occasionally, you carried the tribe, and could have been dangerous in the endgame.
was the exact reason why I ended up picking tubby. I am sorry for putting you in a rather tough position all game though.
Crazy wrote:Other than that, I'll just ask both of you what your biggest strategic move was. I don't know most of what went on after I was voted off, so I'm curious.

I think my biggest strategic move was trusting Devotress to pull off the 2-1-1.

Sudo
Sudo_Nym wrote:What do you think was the most important takeaway from this game, that you'll use for future Survivor games?

Networking. I didn't really talk to many people.

Cayke
crywolf20084 wrote:starbuck: you mentioned that my trust in you was important/special to you, why?

Because I didn't know it was there. I believe that was right when we split back into two tribes. You and I had been on opposite sides for most of the time. It was nice to find out that I had an ally.

mask man

NO. Ewww...

Flava Flave
Flava Flave wrote:Both, what was your best and worst moment in the game?
I think my best moment was winning immunity in the Survivor Trivia challenge.

I think my worst moments were the challenges that I lost due to not being able to be online.
Flava Flave wrote:Starbuck, why did you think that I would have honestly voted you out over Devotress? (the Devo vote was me and the vote on you was Cyb)
Cybele was the one who incited a lot of the crap during the challenge where we had to beat the hell out of each other. He was sending me and Rally all sorts of PMs. Cybele was also the one that stated that Devotress and I had a little alliance. It almost felt like it was coming from the both of you and not just Cybele.

On our last vote there, Devotress had said she talked to you and you had said you were going to vote with Cybele against me. On top of that, your PMs to me weren't all that reassuring. Since Rally had gotten quite hostile before he left the game towards me (even though I didn't place a vote on him to vote him out), I figured he had probably talked to you and you felt the same way because of your lack of replies.
Flava Flave wrote:Both, is there anything you'd change in the way you played the game?
It would be networking. The same thing that I said to Sudo.

chauchaudotcom
chauchaudotcom wrote:What do you think was your greatest attribute that carried you throughout the game and got you to where you are now?
I think my greatest attribute was my ability to figure out when I needed to protect myself.
chauchaudotcom wrote:Star - Given your opening statement, why do you feel you have earned the right to this victory more so then Devotress?
What do you mean by "given my opening statement"?

I feel I have earned the right to this victory because despite some challenges, I worked hard to get to where I am.

Cybele did not PM me. I watched the challenge to see what was going on.
If Flava had made it to the final 3, I think he would have taken me. Cybele, not so much.

Well, then I was wrong there, I PM'd you to let you know that I was getting mass PMs from Cybele during that challenge. It really felt like he was trying to fuck with me.

I joined the game to have fun and because I am a huge Survivor fan. I've never given up, even when things were looking dimly for me.

I think sometimes that the better strategy is to know who to stick with, who to trust when and at what time. I may not have done well at challenges, and that's okay with me. I can live with that. Just because my strategy wasn't out in the open for everyone to see, doesn't mean it wasn't a viable strategy.
