Wow. After multiple plays of this, I have to say this is probably one of the worst Tetris games I've ever seen. The randomization of the tetriminos (4-piece blocks) is much worse than a normal Tetris game. In a normal Tetris game, it's possible to get 2 of the same tetrimino in a row, but it's rather rare. But in this? You have about a 25% chance of getting the same tetrimino

four

times in a row. And sometimes, you'll get a

fifth

right

after one different tetrimino!

This challenge is partially about skill and more about luck. In Tetris, it was more about skill and less about luck,

especially

in the later games where it used the hold feature and showed more tetriminos on the next queue.

I applaud anyone that can get past my line count. My average score (NOT highest) on Mario Tetris 3 is ~45. On normal Tetris games? ~90. (On Tetris Splash, an Xbox Live Arcade game, my average is 95~105)
