Hi everybody. Welcome to the first Mafiascum survivor! For those of you who don't know how to play survivor, here are the rules:

-there will be X "episodes", where X is the number of people who sign up minus 1.

-Each episode except for the very last one will have an immunity challenge. The winner, be it team or individual, will not be able to recieve a vote at tribal council.

-Tribal council is also once each episode. In tribal council, everybody will PM me their vote (for a person currently still in the game). The person with the most votes will leave the game. If there is a tie, the first tiebreaker will be a re-vote. If it's still a tie, whoever has recieved the most votes in previous tribal councils will leave. If that's still a tie, I'll think of something that is currently a secret :twisted:. If you do not send me a vote BY PM by the deadline, it counts as a vote for yourself. Any means of voting that do not invole PMing me will be disregarded. This implies that you want to make alliances, where you and some friends agree to all vote for the same person so that they will be likely to be voted off.

-There will sometimes be a reward challenge. These will be connected to a Twist in the game. These can actually turn out more important than immunity sometimes. There will be twists. I plan on it.

-This is a game of lying, cheating, backtabbing, doing whatever to get yourself to the next level. If you get voted off or backstabbed, please don't take it too hard. It's a game. anybody who doesn't conduct themselves maturly will be removed immediatly.

-Anything else you knew about survivor is questionable and subject to twists :twisted:.

Once we have 12 people signed up, the game will start in exactly a week. Anybody else who signs up in that time is in. If 16 people are signed up at any given time, the game will start with just them.

Here's a little teaser for you all: The game will start with a twist.

I'm glad that he's not on. He was willing to play the game, which I liked, but he was so much of a jerk that it made up for it. You know how there are those people who you love to hate? Well, Jon was one of those people who you hate to hate. I just wish Sandra was back :(

Just because I know a word doesn't mean I'll rule it wrong. Just because www.dictionary.com doesn't know a word, however, I will mark it wrong.

Abbreviation- if it's not a word, for example I will accept the word "tip" even though it's an abreviation for to insure promptness, but I won't accept the word USDA because it's an abbrevation for something much longer. Basically, rule of thumb: If you would capitalize each letter individually, I won't accept it.

yeah, it was good blackhawk. Don't talk about it here (only in PM) tho. Anyhoo, the challenge:

This is a challenge done on the very first survivor ever.

You will be divided into 2 games of 7 people each. The top 2 from each game move on to a final round of 4 people, who will then compete for immunity.

Here's how the game works: You will have a 12x12 board of Xs. You start out on one of the spots, then take turns moving around the board. The catch: Every time you leave a space, it will be removed from the board. You may only move to a space up, down, or to either side of you. If you do not have a legal move, you are out of the game. This is a strategy game to try to box others in and survive yourself. See the two game boards below if you do not understand.

Here we are:

Board 1: players are SaberKitty (the 1 on the board), MeMe(2), Gammie(3), Blackhawk(4), Flying Dutchman(5), Korais666(6), and Ages(7)

Numbers were determined completely at random. I will keep an update of the positions as each player moves. You will go in the order of the numbers you got. TEll me your move by, for example, if I am person 4 and it is my turn, I will post "K8" which means I want to move to the square in column K, row 8 (one to the left) and the square I was just on (L8) will be removed.

for you who don't know yet, all the TTT questions were mafia situations in which they had to figure out who the mafia is.


1) (pretty darn easy... just for starters)

You are a townsperson.

Currently alive: You and 4 other people.

among those 4 are one townie, a mafioso, a cop, and an insane cop.

3 people are claiming cop, person 1, person 2, and person 3.

person 1 says that they investigated person 3 and got guilty.

person 2 says they investigated person 1 and got innocent.

person 3 says they investigated person 2 and got innocent.

2) ... Among those are 2 townies, a cop, an insane cop, a paranoid cop, and 2 mafia. It is day 1.

person 1 claims to have investigated person 4 and gotten innocent.

person 2 claims to have investigated person 4 and gotten innocent.

person 3 claims to have investigated person 2 and gotten innocent

person 4 claims to have investigated person 7 and gotten guilty

person 5 claims to have investigated person 2 and gotten innocent.

people 6 and 7 both claim townie.


3)A mafia game has 7 people

2 mafia, 1 doctor, a cop, an insane cop, a paranoid cop, and a townsperson.

this game started with night.

Overnight, the doctor succesfully saved somebody

Person 1 says: I'm a townsperson

Person 2: I'm the doctor, I saved person 5 last night.

Person 3: I'm a cop, I investigated person 1 and got innocent.

Person 4: I'm a cop, I investigated person 7 and got guilty

Person 5: I'm the doctor, I saved person 7 last night.

Person 6: I'm a cop, I investigated person 3 and got guilty.

Person 7: I'm a cop, I investigated person 4 and got innocent.

4) your question... the final 1. answer this correctly first and your tribe wins immunity.

A mafia game has 9 people (person 1, person 2...). Among those are 2 scum, a cop, an insane cop, a paranoid cop, 2 townies, a doc, and a mayor. A mayor is a special role-- their day vote counts for 2 votes instead of one. Also, they are not alowed to claim "mayor"-- they claim townie instead.

The game starts with night.

person 9 (townsperson) dies.

during the day, person 2 is voted for by people 1, 3, 5, 8. People 2, 4, 6 each vote for person 1. Person 7 votes for person 3.

It is like this when the deadline hits; and there is no lynch because of a tie between 2 people in votes.

During the night, the doctor saves the person the mafia targeted.

On Day 2, the town decides to do a full claim.

they each claim--

person 1: I'm a townie

person 2: I'm a cop. I've investigated person 1 and gotten innocent, and person 5 and gotten guilty.

person 3: I'm a townie

person 4: I'm a townie

person 5: I'm a cop, I've investigated people 2 and 7 and got guilty on both of them.

People are talking merge, but a reward challenge instead brings the biggest twist of the game.

the tribal council follows up the twist for what could be the biggest change of the game.

Your challenge is simple (for reward, but quite arguably more important than immunity). decipher this code. When you think you have it, post the word that is encoded (BUT NOT HOW YOU SOLVED IT. If you do so, you will be d/qed)

But yes, BlueSin takes first and MeMe takes second.

Now then, in case you were wondering why FD was already voted out and he's still posting...

actually, all the people voted out were participating, just none of them actually got there first.

BLUESIN: you get first pick at either:

a) turning us into 3 different tribes at the end of this episode,
-or-
b) bringing 2 people previously voted out back into the game.

MEME: You get whatever Bluesin didn't choose.

Once Bluesin chooses, we are going to merge for 1 "day". The t/c twist part: to keep up with the schedule, THE TOP 2 VOTE RECIEVERS WILL BOTH BE VOTED OUT. the 2 people Bluesin returns will have immunity for one t/c.

BlueSin- there are 2 options, choosing the people who will come back or rearanging the new tribes soon. If you decide to choose the 2 people who come back, MeMe will choose the tribes. If you choose the tribes, MeMe will decide who comes back.

Yes, post it right here.

and, as always, you may hand the reward off to someone else.

NOTE: BlueSin and MeMe get a special Shadow Immunity. You two may still hand your rewards off, but the immunity will stay with you. Since the people who come back do too, then there will be no immunity challenge.

FYI: People who were taken out by the inactivities don't count as "voted off". The only people eligible to be brought back are:

ZONEACE
Flying Dutchman
Fishbulb
Blackhawk
