Indeed. Tempted as I am to go along with the "Bookworm the Gorilla" plan, I can't help but think its unnecessary. Even if someone does manage to make the Gorilla active, we should be able to kill that person.

Well, this is the first game I've been in that doesn't involve Overmind, and in all honesty, I think I overbid a little. I did not get the Ray of the Parasite though, so I'll be playing at an effective -10 energy just like everyone else.

Also, no bananas = no gorilla. Yay! :D

I don't think we need to take down Pooky this round. At 3 energy, he isn't a threat, but his imps are. We should take them down. Attacking Mccoyn might be a good idea as well. That Ray of the Parasite irritates me to no end.

I'm willing to contribute to the "Kill Maz" campaign if others are. I don't like the mentality of "I'll just die and be resurrected on the winning team." Its like saying "Lets let the cult win and all get recruited."

I for one, am attacking because I think my odds of winning are much higher with Maz dead than alive.

The problem is that the last to die will simply end up killed with no chance of resurrection. The goal is to be the last player standing, but the longer you survive, the lower your odds of being resurrected are. Therein lies the problem, good play leads to survival; survival leads to being alive in the late game; being alive in the late game leads to loss; so basically, good play leads to loss.

As far as I'm concerned, spells should be made only for the benefit of their controller. If you had resurrected me, I'd do my best to help you win, but I'd still consider it your win, not mine. That's why I'm going for the solitary win, and that's why I helped kill you.

I agree with this. Let's kill Guardian.

That's only if he spends equal amounts on Attack and Defense. Since he did not, he does not get the bonus and dies as a result.

Does Bookworm resolve immediately, or at the end of the round like other powers?

I'm waiting to see what/if Guardian is going to bookworm something.

Only Zombie Stoofer does, and the Bookworm would mostly affect the moves of Zombie Maz and my Golem.

Ah, so you're using it with the rest of the spells and not before?

Well played.

Unfortunately, I think Bookworm can be activated any time. I asked earlier, and Albert answered that it can. Mod didn't contradict him, so I'm guessing that's the final ruling, but to be certain:

Mod: Can Bookworm be used at any time, or is it used at the same time as other spells?

Also, Sudo. I notice you attacked Coolbot's Golem and not mine, and there appears some anti-Sudo sentiment among the players. Care for an alliance?

Hm, looking back, it looks like only Guardian was mentioning worries about you. I could have sworn it was more than that...

Anyway, as to an alliance, I was thinking more of a temporary non-aggression pact, since with the loss of Raise Dead, I won't be able to survive much longer if everyone continues to gang up on me.

This offer also extends to everyone who doesn't want to kill me immediately. Don't attack me, and I won't attack you.

True, but I still can't take down multiple opponents at once if they cooperate with each other.
