How The Game Works:
16 players will be playing to try to collect as much gold as possible. Each episode, there will be an expedition. The winning crew wins the gold found on the expedition. Also, if the winning crew is the
Red Crew
-Captain gets 50%
-Officers each get 12.5%
-Crew on winning side evenly split whatever of the remaining 25% is left.
The captain will then give 3 players the black spot. These players will be up for elimination in the
pirate's court
.All players will vote except for the captain, his two officers, and the nominated players. The player with the most votes is cut adrift. In the event of a tie, the captain chooses.
Expeditions:
At the beginning of each episode, there will be an expedition. The captain and his two officers will always be on the
black crew
. The rest of the players are randomly assigned, as evenly as possible. If there is an odd number of players, the black crew
will get an extra player. Expeditions will never be shorter than 48 hours.If...
Black Crew Wins:
The current captain remains the same. He may change his/her officers if they so choose. They may then choose to give away some of their gold or just take the 50% cut. Captain will have 24 hours to choose.
Red Crew Wins:
Players on the red crew will vote mafia style to elect a new captain amongst them. They will have 24 hours to do so. The player with the most votes will become captain, if a majority isn't reached. In the event of a tie, a die will be rolled to determine the captain. Players may vote for themselves.
Once the captain is chosen, he/she will have 24 hours to decide gold cuts and officer assignments.
Black Spots:
After the gold has been divvied, officers chosen/reselected, the captain will give out 3 black spots to any three players of their choosing, besides the officers. These three players will be put up for elimination at
pirate's court
. They will have 48 hours to do this.Pirate's Court:
With the black spots set, all players that aren't the captain, an officer, or a black spotted player will have 48 hours to PM me with a vote. They have two options for votes:

Mutiny
If all players that vote unanimously choose mutiny, a mutiny may occur in which the captain will be cut adrift. However, this only will occur if one of the two officers allow it to. If the mutiny succeeds, the captain is eliminated and the officer that voted against the mutiny will be automatically given 1 of the black spots at the next
pirate's court
.However if both officers vote against the mutiny, the captain will not be cut adrift and instead may choose to eliminate any player of their choosing, even one that wasn't given a black spot.
Final 8:
After 8 players have been cut adrift, one of them will automatically be voted back into the game and be exempt from being given a black spot at the next
pirate's court
. The player chosen is decided by a vote of the eliminated players. The player will rejoin the game after the black spots in that episode have been given. After that pirate's court
, the returning player can be given a black spot again. In addition, the position of officer is removed for the remainder of the game, thus automatically causing a mutiny to succeed. Also, only two black spots will be given by the captain from this point on.Final 3:
Final 3 will compete in a free-for-all expedition. The winner becomes the captain and automatically gives both remaining players black spots AND takes all gold won in the expedition. The two players given black spots are voted on by all players that have been eliminated. The player who receives the most votes is cut adrift.
Final 2:
The final 2 will compete in a final expedition. All eliminated players may offer to help either or both of the two remaining players. The two remaining players may choose up to 3 of the eliminated players to help them on the final expedition. The player's team that wins the final expedition wins all the gold on that expedition and the title of PIRATE MASTER!
Gold:
Gold can be used to buy various things throughout the game, as well as at the end of the game for every $100 you earn 1 rating (so in the final expedition, the winner will get $500,000 or 5000 rating)
