Interest Gauging - Mole Game

We're currently working on putting together a new mish mash mole game, and we want to see what sort of interest there is before we go too much further. Right now we are looking at a small/medium sized game at 12 players focusing less on live events and more on events that can be done within a time limit.

What we would like to gather information-wise:

-We're currently debating if we want to run the game in mish mash, or play the game anonymously through an external forums (think of Kscopes survivor games from last year). Input on this would be fantastic.
-We have it set up right now to use a theme of 90's Nick, because the silver snakes are pretty cool. We'll have it set up in either format to have people pick a character to represent and etc. This is obviously more important in the anonymous format.

We won't take formal pre-ins or anything right now. We're hoping to get signups going within the week though.

If you're looking for newer anonymous games, Survivor: Seafoam Islands would be the most recent.

There *is* a small queue up for large games right now. When my game ends, Nicholas' anonymous game goes up, then after that, Mehdi has a game. I'd gladly /in and stuff, though.

I also think you're missing the point of "interest gauging" with my quote. How to run it that way isn't our issue, if we/the players want to is.

I just wanted to make sure you knew. It isn't really a queue, but it's a decent place to go to look for what games are probably coming.

I'm not really sure why a mole game would need to be anonymous, unless it makes it easier for you guys to organize stuff like making special threads available or whatever, but I'd be interested in either format. Do you need to have a lot of knowledge about 90's Nick to compete in the challenges, or is that just for fun?

We decided not to do it anonymous, but we are still debating if we want to do it off-site for ease of administrative shit.

Don't mind me, just my two cents: previously in Mole games, people have used their knowledge of the other players (including knowledge from a meet IIRC) to determine if they would be likely to be a willing Mole or not, thus narrowing down the suspect pool early. With anon you don't have that advantage as much (of course, somebody could volunteer as the mole for shits/giggles).
