Marathon Survivor Re-scheduling

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Thu Dec 20, 2012 5:00 am

Post by T-Bone »

Time to give it it's own topic. Winter break is a great time to do a marathon game! I mean really, do you want to be outside in the cold when you could be inside on the computer backstabbing your friends instead?

Originally I was just gonna say Marathon Survivor. Our last Marathon game ended up only having 10 people when it was all said and done. So this is what I'm gonna do.

9-13 people, we play BB. 14+ we play Survivor. Less than 9 we just sing Christmas Carols over Skype.

What is a Marathon game then? Well you're expected to be online for the entire duration of the game. We're probably talking about 4 hours or so. All challenges are live obviously. Xalxe is generously donating the All-Stars forum for this endeavor.

The last thing to do is pick a date. Days I could run this include, Sunday evening, X-Mas Eve, Friday, and more times TBA (based on my work schedule sadly)

Um yeah, post people, lets talk.

/in, I'd suggest post-xmas so there's more planning time. If it's Survivor I have some sexy logos I've been sitting on for perusal.

/in
but after Christmas would work best for me. Late afternoon and evening also work better cuz Marklet is awake and a pain during the day unless it's nappish/bedtime. If it's after the 2nd though, it'll HAVE to be evening.
Just let me know.

The last one started at 2pm. We went for several hours straight.

tentative /in then.

But now people
have
to join because Ani + I singing Christmas Carols combined would probably kill everyone (assuming he's telling the truth which he's probably not, but eh)

Shit that's a legit threat I suspect.

Pizza is assumed to be /in, I'll figure out what I have to bribe him with later.

When my parents tell me I'm really bad, then I would think so.

Well we're in the same boat then.

Also, I agree with others that after Xmas would probably be better for me, with Xmas Eve being a definitely not. Sunday would be a maybe, but I'm not sure.

If it starts middayish then it has to be next week after Christmas and before New Year's Eve for me.
