It's okay, it was mainly the fact that we had just started a conversation that bothered me, and I had nothing to really say without just being like "what the hell is 'ah :)' supposed to mean?!" It actually made me think you didn't want to talk to me, and I was convinced you thought I was stupid. xD At least tell me that you think my comment is funny if that's what you meant by "ah :)"! :P <3

I don't remember much from this game, but GG all. I'm glad I bowed out when I did, because school.

I could have done a better job saying it, but yes, it was funny. If only you'd asked...

In post 39, D3f3nd3r wrote:And now my rant about this game and Survivor in general:

How the hell do I play a non-UTR game without being the first person voted out like in Arkham?? I talk to people - like, a lot - over the game's course...
D3f, I used to have the same problem, and my advice would be to just make sure you keep talking to people. Always think of new things to say or new things to ask about, even if it feels like you're trying too hard. At the same time though, you have to not seem like a robot either (this may have been part of the reason why you weren't so popular in Arkham). If you're about to write a PM that only has one line, stop yourself unless it's an exceptionally good line (especially if the player in question is one of the more 'talkative' ones) and think of more to write because chances are that they're sharing big juicy PMs with someone else. Also, I find that with anons in particular, a lot of it is about getting to know other players and getting a feel for whether you could trust them or not, so let loose a little and show your personality/make one up, and if you like someone/feel close to them then make sure you let them know! (I mean, you don't even have to like someone to say that you like them, but small steps yo).

Note that all of the above is complete opinion and might not work for anyone but me, and also is dependent on how much effort you're willing to put in, but you may find some of it useful I guess?

*Getting protective over my lorelei*
Also, that comment about being "more sick" than Lorelei is totally uncalled for. How the hell do you tell how sick someone is through a PM? And what gives you the right to judge how that affects them?

(Please come back Lore, I want more songs)
Oh Nya <3
I really want Lorelei to win as well. I really hope this is what it takes to snap her back to the game, and not make her shut down entirely. WE LOVE YOU LORELEI PLEASE COME BACK!
I feel like shit now oh my god ;~; Again, bronchitis and girls being dumb IRL took its toll on me at the time, I'm sorry, especially since I really enjoyed the game pre-merge. :(

Awh thanks. I always was looking forward to your confessional post because they were so full of info. Between you and Jal I was very well informed about Red dynamics.

I really don't think I have anything else to say. I'm sorry I just wasn't around when the game started, and then failed on the only thing that I'm supposed to be good at.
I hope I said it enough in my thread. I really think you were a causality of the "team dynamic" on Blue. It seemed you were having a hard time breaking into the alliances and internal politics due to their not being votes to really discuss. I understand why you went up to duel, but had you not I don't think you would have been going out for a very long while. I would not count this as a failure for you. You took a risk by volunteering and it didn't pay off, but it's not a failure.

Also on another note, I think UTR gets thrown around a lot. At least used as a catch-all that sorta devalues it's meaning.

I wanted to show Red the grass was greener on our side. I really did want Bruno to join as well as anyone else that I felt might have been willing. So I was giving incentive. It was also why I was against putting in Jessie and Red back into the arena right away. Instead, that backfired on me and they just implemented their own system and became more unified.

Oh well, I am not one to pretend like I know what I am doing. :)

No, I think that's a valid strategy. I wasn't criticizing just curious.

The game will be shortly after MLK day. Thank you for your interest! :]

:D

This game felt good. Both happy and sad that no one really back-stabbed much. I gave people so many opportunities, but people don't like risks. I almost closed out the final. I would have thrown Red under the bus for Surge in an instant. I felt his rapport was actually quite amusing an approachable. After that failed, I just ran out of steam and really couldn't be arsed trying for something amazing again, hence why I put everything public. And it backfired. Ah well.

But all the positive feedback is interesting. And so is the above Survivor theme. Looks like I might jump into a survivor again.

TBO/Oak: Are we going to get a voting chart eventually? Some of the votes, especially the tribe ones, were close and I want to see them.

I started slipping away from watching the game toward the end, but it was quite enjoyable to watch.
