MARATHON SURVIVOR: XXXX ISLAND

Pumpkin Island (temporarily renamed XXXX Island [not to be confused with XXX Island, please don't Google that]) is an island that is used as a prize for competitions. People compete in things, and then whoever wins gets to stay on the island. So... why not play Survivor on the island? We're going to stay here for awhile and play a game of Survivor. The winner gets a year's stay on the island. Sound good? Good. Here's your entry form:

Application
1.
Username:
2.
If selected, what strategy would you utilize to survive?
3.
Marathon Survivor: XXXX Island
requires players to be available 2-7 PM EST on January 2-4. Are you able to be there?
4.
Have you competed in large, reality show games (Survivor, Big Brother, The Mole, Endurance, The List, Unanimous, etc.) before? If so, which ones?

GENERAL RULES

1.
This is a game. The main objective is to have fun; so no excessive flaming, spamming, or submission of anything else prohibited within the MS forums.
2.
This is a game. The secondary objective is to dominate.
3.
I am not infallible, so if I make a mistake, please point it out to me so that we may make corrections as necessary.
4.
I have worked extensively to produce a game that is enjoyed by all involved. As such, I promise to offer each player respect but expect to be shown the same in return.
5.
Exercise common sense. If you are unsure as to whether an action conflicts with the rules, ask. Yes, this is a competition, but do not attempt to undermine challenges or game mechanics for your own gain. This violates both the spirit of the game and common respect mentioned above.
6.
Private communication with players outside of your tribe is strictly prohibited. Violations of this rule will be penalized.
7.
We reserve all rights to implement new rules if needed.

GAME MECHANICS

1.
Marathon Survivor: XXXX Island
is not anonymous. You may communicate with any player unless you are specifically told not to communicate with them. You may communicate with allowed players however you would like.

Tribe Leaders:

2.
While there are tribes, each tribe will have a Tribe Leader. This Tribe Leader will perform several functions for the tribe, such as breaking ties and choosing who sits out of challenges. Tribe Leaders will be chosen immediately after tribes are made.
3.
If a Tribe Leader is voted out, a new one will immediately be chosen.

Reward Challenges:

4.
Throughout this game, you may encounter some Reward Challenges. These challenges are designed to give winners an advantage in the game.
5.
The outcomes of all Reward Challenges are final. That said, be sure to keep Rule 3 of General Rules in mind.

Immunity Challenges:

6.
A Survivor game is nothing without its standard immunity challenges. While there are a limited number of Reward Challenges throughout the game, each round will possess an Immunity Challenge.
7.
Winners of Immunity Challenges will be safe from elimination that round and cannot be voted out in Tribal Councils.
8.
The outcomes of all Immunity Challenges are final. That said, be sure to keep Rule 03 of General Rules in mind.

Tribal Council:

9.
Tribal Councils will typically last twenty minutes from the moment we notify relevant parties. If a player fails to submit a vote within the given time frame, he or she will incur a self-vote penalty. In the event that a player knows he or she will be unable to vote by deadline, that player may notify the moderators and cast a conditional vote to avoid penalization.
10.
The results of Tribal Councils may be posted before deadline if and only if all persons involved have submitted a vote.
11.
The outcomes of Tribal Councils are final.
12.
Questions concerning ties in Tribal Council may be found below:

Spoiler: Breaking Ties
I.
Due to time constraints, in the event of an initial tie, the Leader of the tribe that had the tie will choose who is voted out.
II.
If the game has reached the Merge, a revote shall take place. Contestants may only vote for one of the tied players, and all tied individuals may not vote.
III.
If a majority is not met in the revote, the following methods will be implemented to determine which player is eliminated:
a.
If the game has not reached the Final Six, all players not locked in the tie or immune will draw rocks. The player who receives a black rock will be eliminated.
b.
If the game has reached the Final Six, a tie-breaker challenge will take place between tied parties. This will be explained in greater detail should a tie occur at this stage in the game.

Twists:

13.
Twists will be implemented without warning or provocation throughout the game. The time and setting of each twist has already been determined, so as to neither give an unfair advantage or disadvantage to a player or group of players.

Welp, couldn't get enough sign-ups. Not sure six is enough to start a game. Game abandoned.
