16 of you will be selected to play the ultimate game of friendship, trust, and betrayal. You will come from many different universes, with many different skills, to create the most diverse cast Survivor has ever seen. If you are interested, please fill out the application below and PM it to this account. The sign-up phase is guaranteed to last 24 hours, but it will not last longer than that unless we do not receive enough applications in that time period.
{ GENERAL RULES }
{01}
This is a game. The main objective is to have fun; so no excessive flaming, spamming, or submission of anything else prohibited within the MS forums.
{02}
This is a game. The secondary objective is to win. Regardless of how amusing you think it may be, do not join merely to troll the other players.
{03}
We are not infallible, so if any of the moderating team makes a mistake, please point it out and we will correct it if needed.
{04}
We have worked extensively to produce a game that is enjoyed by all involved. As such, we promise to offer each player respect but expect to be shown the same in return.
{05}
This game is anonymous. Do not state or imply your identity in any place outside of your confessional. Likewise, do not set your birthday, as this is an easy way to identify you.
{06}
Exercise common sense. If you are unsure as to whether an action conflicts with the rules, ask. Yes, this is a competition, but do not attempt to undermine challenges or game mechanics for your own gain. This violates both the spirit of the game and common respect mentioned above.
{07}
Private communication with players outside of your tribe or eliminated players is strictly prohibited. Any player found in violation of this rule will be penalized.
{08}
Any and all posting about this game outside the provided forums unless SPECIFICALLY STATED is illegal.
{09}
The posting of Private Messages (whether via text (paraphrasing is fine) or via image) in a public forum is explicitly disallowed. You may; however, post them in your confessional.
{10}
The moderators may discipline any player that breaks the rules however we see fit, depending on the specific situation. We also reserve the right to implement new rules if needed.
{GAME MECHANICS}
{01}
Survivor: Season Finale
is
ANONYMOUS
. All participants are strictly prohibited from so much as hinting to their own identities or implying another player's mafiascum identity. You are free to speculate within your own confessional, but nowhere else. Also, if you are talking with other scummers outside of this forum, you must not state or imply that you are playing in this game. Failure to follow this rule can result in a variety of consequences ranging from a terse warning to one's elimination from the game. Gaius Baltar, Petyr Baelish, and Cosima Niehaus reserve the right to determine the severity of possible infractions.
Challenges:
{02}
For the most part, every round (episode) of this game will include a challenge. Typically this will be for Immunity, although occasionally some other rewards may be at stake.
{03}
The winner(s) of the Immunity Challenge will be safe from elimination, and cannot be voted off at Tribal Council. Before the merge, Immunity will go to an entire tribe; after the merge, it will go to an individual.
{04}
We appreciate the fact that prospective contestants will enter this game with a range of skills. With this in mind, understand that we as mods cannot cater to all players' needs and time constraints in challenges.
{05}
The outcomes of all Immunity Challenges are final. That said, however, be sure to keep Rule 03 of General Rules in mind.
Tribal Council:
{06}
Tribal Council is where players are eliminated. Before the merge, only the losing tribe will visit TC, and will vote one player off. After the merge, all remaining players will go to TC, including immunity challenge winners.
{07}
If you do not vote at Tribal Council, you will incur a self-vote, and it will be announced as such. If you do not vote in two consecutive Tribal Councils, you will be eliminated
instead
of the player who received the most votes.
{08}
If you do not anticipate being around for TC, you may post a conditional vote in your confessional, or a ranking of several players in case your preferred choice wins immunity.
{09}
You may change your vote after it is cast, as long as Tribal Council has concluded. For this reason, we will not update Tribal Councils until after the 24 hours has elapsed.
{10}
If a player decides to quit the game after Tribal Council has already begun, then that Tribal Council will be cancelled.
{11}
The outcomes of Tribal Councils are final.
{12}
Questions concerning ties in Tribal Council may be found below:
{I}
In the event of an initial tie, a revote shall take place. Contestants may only vote for one of the tied players, and all tied individuals may not vote.
{II}
If a plurality is not met in the revote, the following methods (in the given order) will be implemented to determine which player is eliminated:
Spoiler: Tiebreaker procedure
1. Any tied player who failed to submit a vote during the Tribal Council in question will be eliminated.
2. If the above does not apply, or if more than one tied player failed to vote, then there will be an elimination challenge, in which every non-immune player EXCEPT the players that are tied is at risk. Everyone in question must submit a number between 1-100. Your score will be calculated as (your number) minus (next highest number chosen). If you picked the lowest number, then your score will be the number you chose. The player with the lowest score will be eliminated from the game.
3. If the above is not valid because there are not at least 2 non-immune, non-tied players to participate in the challenge (for example, at the Final 4), then the TIED players will participate in the challenge instead.
Twists:
{13}
Twists will be implemented without warning or provocation throughout the game. The time and setting of each twist has already been determined, so as to neither give an unfair advantage or disadvantage to a player or group of players.
Jury and Final Tribal Council:
{14}
After you are eliminated, you are no longer allowed to talk to anyone still in the game. The first 7 players eliminated will form the "Pre-Jury" and they will have their own forum to talk among themselves, although their role in the game will be over.
{15}
Once the game has reached the Final 9, the jury will begin. The jury will consist of 7 players that are eliminated between 9th place and 3rd place, and their job is to decide the winner of the game. The jury will also have their own forum, apart from the Pre-Jury. The Pre-Jury and the Jury may not talk to each other; however, if someone is removed from the jury due to inactivity or other reasons, the most recently eliminated pre-juror may be transferred to the jury.
{16}
At the Final Tribal Council, the seven jurors will be able to ask questions to the Final Two. After they have finished, they will vote for which of the Final Two they would like to win the game. The finalist that gets more jury votes will be crowned as the winner of Survivor: Season Finale.

Despite the date, this is not an April Fool's joke. It wouldn't be a very funny one, anyway.
We will also take spectators. That means that you will not play, but you will have the ability to read confessionals and talk to the players during the game. If you are interested in this, send a PM with a character choice.
We officially have enough sign-ups, but we will keep them open until 12:00 PM EST tomorrow, to give everyone that wanted to join a reasonable opportunity. Players that pre-inned have guaranteed spots, but some applicants will unfortunately be cut, if we get any more applications in.
If your application is denied, then you may still be a spectator. Feel free to pre-emptively select which character you would most like to spectate as, in case you are not accepted into the game.
You should all know whether you are accepted or not by shortly after 12:00 PM EST tomorrow, which is in (expired on 2014-04-02 12:00:00). The game will officially start at 6:00 PM EST, or in (expired on 2014-04-02 18:00:00).
All players should have received a PM stating whether they were accepted or not. Usernames and passwords will go out at 6:00 PM EST today, in about 3 hours.
ended their winning streak and had to revisit Tribal Council, but not before Yzma decided to switch tribes, and join the guys. She was immune for this Tribal Council.
