Don't worry, usually when guys try to play tropes of women it backfires horribly.

Like Wiggles in Botb who was trying to play a "ditzy girl" and wound up on a tribe of 4 actual women who immediately voted him off.

I don't think it's really been an issue. But it is kinda insulting and that round of Botb encapsulated why.

Also people should know better by now than to base any relationship off percieved gender because people are so often wrong.

The women's alliance in this game was obviously a jokey thing though.

This game was Granites vs Hawkeyes and no force on heaven or earth could have changed that, not even the power of womyn's alliances.
It was interesting for sure, to see a game play out in such an old-school manner. I think it was more interesting then previous games, honestly.
Usually there's only one alliance, but both sides were swinging back and forth at each other, it made things more even? See: Ted and Rand in the end.
It is SUCH A SHAME that I didn't sign up for this game, really looking forward to the next one I play being like this!

Cruz is 100% gay.

Rand kinda acted like someone who didn't have an idol but his story didn't make sense with Marco saying the puzzle was at 2x, as it was at 2x for awhile. My thinking for awhile was, why would Rand have seen it at 2x and then not have done it if he was right there? I think there were two different puzzles or something though. A lot of people thought Jindal had one early on, regardless. It's whether you believed the One Devil Per Tribe clue meant there was one idol available to each tribe from the Koch forums.

Real or not, I was just sad I couldn't be part of a girl's alliance when it was actually happening in a Survivor game! Has there ever been an intentional guy avatar alliance on here? The Republicans tribe totally could have been an all-bros one if a lot of us didn't want to get as far away as possible from the others at times.

Anyway, this game had a fun cast and was well run. Glad to meet and play with a lot of people I only heard about and finally being able to drink the Mattp kool-aid. It was indeed good! I thought D3f was O'Malley, so I was ultimately upset for him booting who I thought was him on Sage. Whoops.

It's weird how much this game punished big leaders early. Like yeah it happens in other games, but Elizabeth / Tulsi / Donald / Barbara were all huge huge huge players that were systematically dumped for being too big.

That was part of the reason I wanted to shift the FTC narrative and draw parallels to Koah Rong.

I think a lot of people played big, did it early, and were polarizing while doing it. That's also a really great way to make enemies. With the exception of Warren, I'd say those same people are who eventually molded this into a very Granite vs Hawkeye game.

I think honestly ani's play is what sent this down the path of Granite vs Hawkeye. Like, he kept talking in terms of "taking out a Hawkeye now versus a Granite later", etc, and it got everyone talking in those terms. And when Tulsi got blindsided, Trump went on a rampage about how the pagong train was gonna happen cuz he wanted revenge.

Trump was a huge character in this game, even after his elimination. Same with Tulsi.

Really just proud of the vast majority of this cast and how interesting it was. I mean literally every TC was interesting and tense. That first TC might be the most amazing TC In the history of MS Survivor.

The Martin elim is what set me personally into prevent-hawkeye-pagong mode. The Arnold elim I was partly agreeing to it as a "look, hawks aren't trying to pagong" move
