Before we get to the results, I want to point out an error we made in the challenge post, specifically with the line "If two or more players hold on for the same number of questions, the person with the fastest time will prevail." This would mean that a player who answers 9 questions correctly would beat a player who answered 10 correctly if the first player had a faster time, since you only fall after two wrong answers. We intended for the number of correct answers to determine a winner before we went to time, but since those are the rules we laid out, we'll stick to them.
Despite the above error, the winning team in this challenge would have won with the above rules in place or with our intended rules in place. So it basically doesn't matter!

Maybe you guys should have done it faster rather than just on time.

Oh if I realised 9/10 was just as good as 10/10 I wouldn't have spent bussing forever looking up obscure diseases (not that it matters I guess)

If it would have made a difference, we most likely would have gone with 10 correct being better than 9, since that's what a lot of people were naturally assuming anyways.
Sorry to hear about your newfound bout with hemorrhoids

{Episode 07 Fortress}
"I Can" Do Sequences
BROseidon
vs.
Flameaxe
This Fortress is called "I Can". Prior to attempting the challenge, both players will privately bid in an effort to determine how many integer sequences they can complete within 10 minutes, i.e.: "
I Can
do # sequences.
" There will be a total of 50 sequences provided for the player to attempt. The player may attempt any of the 50 sequences provided.
If only one player reaches their bet, that player will win and the other will be eliminated. If both players reach their bet, whoever had the higher bet wins. If both players fail, whoever was closest to their bet wins. If a tie remains after all the preceding criteria, whoever posted their final answer in the quickest time will win. The deadline to complete the bidding and sequences is
24 hours
.
The sequences are all integer sequences with one number missing. There will always be at least 7 numbers listed within the sequence. For example in the simple sequence: 1, 2, 3, 4, A, 6, 7. The answer will be 5. The unspoken equation in this sequence is x, (x+1)... Answers will all be whole numbers. No numbers used in the sequence will have more than 5 digits. Once you are ready to begin, contact a moderator and we will send you a list of 50 sequences. Within 10 minutes, you must post the number of the sequence you have chosen to complete, along with the solved variable (ie:#1 A=5). Any sequences given after the 10-minute mark will not count. Any incorrect answers given will deduct 1 sequence from your total.
You are NOT ALLOWED to use outside sources in solving the sequences.

Spoiler:
Broseidon wagered that he could solve 20 sequences.
He completed....
18 correctly, with 3 incorrect answers bringing his score down to 15. If Flameaxe undershoots his bid by 5 or more, BRO could still win, however.
Spoiler:
Flameaxe solved 12 sequences correctly. But what was his bid?
...
...
...
...
10! This means Flameaxe wins, and Broseidon has been eliminated.
