Immunity Challenge Four: Storytelling!

After some time, the tribes reach a small cave and decide to shelter for the night. Unbeknowst to them, they have stumbled upon the lair of a Thunder Troll! As you start to get settled in he appears in the entrance and roars "TELL ME A STORY!" It seems that doing so is the only way to appease the Troll...

The tribe that can tell the best story will be victorious in this challenge. Two threads will soon be set up in the whole sort of general mish mash forum, one for each tribe. Your goal is to tell a better story than the opposing tribe. However, there is a catch; Each member of your tribe may only post one word at a time. By working together, you can piece together the sentences that will form a riveting tale. By succeeding in certain aspects of the storytelling you will compete for points.

Stories will be scored on the following:

1) Coherency. Each coherant sentence will be worth points equal to the number of words in that sentence. A coherant sentence must be an understandable sentence written with proper grammar and spelling. Run-on sentences, as determined by Microsoft Word, will not count for any points.
2) Story continuation. Every sentence that follows a running theme will be worth and additional 10 points.
3) Part of Story. Having a beginning middle and an end is worth and additional 50 points to your total score.
4) Variety. A sentence in which all of your members post at least once will recieve a 5 point bonus.

Now, some rules:

1) Absolutely no editing of posts. If I see that any posts have been edited I will reduce your teams score to zero at that point and restart counting.
2) No deletion of posts. If you mess up, you mess up. Obviously this is on the honor rule if I'm not around, but I will be watching the post counts carefully and if I catch someone deleting a post their team will lose 50 points.
3) There must be two different tribemates in between each of your own posts.
4) Nothing particularly crude or obscene. I will neglect to count sentences that are too vulgar for my tastes.
5) No repeating a sentence or very similar sentences, i.e. "I ate cake. They ate cake. Those guys ate cake". This does NOT count for running theme, it is only annoying.

I know this is a rather vague challenge of sorts, but it can also be a fun one. Please keep your mind open and try to be creative with it. The threads will be left open from eight PM EST tonight until eight PM EST on thursday. At that point I will rally the points and declare the winners.

These Thunder Dragons are of you and your opposing tribe, attempting to snap eachother's neck.

I wasn't around to see exactly when the deadline hit and what posts were there. I'm accepting all posts as they are. The threads have been locked. Now calculating the scores.

Immunity Challenge Four: The End.

The scores have bee tabulated. Gladius works together to tell a thrilling tale of teenagers in Canada. Magus however, told an incomplete and barely coherant story of talking breakfast meat. The Thunder Troll was not pleased with their performance.

Magus: 34

Gladius: 34+

(by their 4th sentence had surpassed Magus)

Gladius has won Immunity Challenge Four! As a result, their tribe will remain intact for another week. Magus, you will be forced to go to tribal council and boot out one of your own.

Magus, please vote for the player you wish to kick out via PM. Deadline for votes will be Monday at 5 PM. Anyone who fails to turn in their vote will be counted as voting for themselves.

There is a flaw in this lazy calculation of yours.

According to Rule 1)
Absolutely no editing of posts. If I see that any posts have been edited I will reduce your teams score to zero at that point and restart counting.
it is possible for Gladius to have a lower score than 34 based on the ending of their forum posts ;).

I counted backwards from the end while searching for edits...Gladius still won. And no, I will NOT tally the entire score. You can go ahead if you want

If you didn't put any effort into it, why are you working so hard to get the mods to give the victory to you?

i'm not... i'm just saying it's near impossible to determine a true winner as one can edit a post without it showing to be an edit.

p.s. arguing this is way easier/more fulfilling

p.p.s- how do you know we didn't throw it?

Magus does not support unnecessary posts that desecrate the sanctity of WSOGMM. As such, we threw the challenge as a protest to the uncivilized spammers who value winning a game over their Honor.

Tribal Council Four: Cat spayed.

There are many selfvotes, but I failed to make the deadline known well so I accepted late votes. The majority of votes are for Wizardcat (even without votes accepted late).

Wizardcat, with the majority of votes, you are the fourth player to be eliminated. Thank you for participating.

Immunity Challenge Five: Untitled!

You will now be tested on your strategy skills and your ability to outwit your opponents. The goal is to achieve the highest amount of points. There will be six 1v1 rounds, but only one round for each player.. You will send a PM with the # of points you wish to gain that round. But, if your opponent selects that same number during that round, then you will both get 0 points for that round. At the end of all six rounds, whichever tribe has the highest points will win Immunity. You may only choose whole numbers between 1 and 5. The pairings are as follows:

Pickemgenius
Vs.
Farside22

Flameaxe
Vs.
Hasdgfas

Pie_is_good
Vs.
OhGodMyLife

Bethelmark
Vs.
