Tracker is tracker and there's a lil bit of entropy from the fv/mailman/doctor but not really anything that's gonna stop it from being tracker
FV can semi-clear themselves later on i guess barring multitasking esp considering its a role that makes sense w tracker (granted it'd probs still probs mislynchable?)
Simple Doctor gives town a somewhat limited protective and dissuades any follow the invest strats

Scum Mailman forces scum to be creative w their role, i imagine it could b p powerful if scum know how to use it to manipulate but is gimped by the fact that they have to claim x-shot or something if the goon dies

i like the idea of town traffic analyst vs scum mailman w no other communicative roles but feels like that'd also open up some potential salt if town ends up falsely clearing the mailman

i was staring at the wiki page and had an inkling of an idea

town traffic analyst
town rolestopper
vt x5
mafia roleblocker
mafia goon

so basically, traffic analyst either gets clears or guilties but can't get a guilty after the first scum lynch
rolestopper basically acts as a protective with the caveat that they can potentially cancel out a result
roleblocker kinda counters follow the cop strats

i dig this but my main concern is i feel like the high potential for no kills could get pretty unfun/demotivating esp w two in a row
i also feel like the town could potentially get paranoid and mislynch one of the protectives if they're both out and not cleared by the TA :x

mailman can get guiltied and outted but is more likely to be seen as a town role here
bodyguard is a decent protective w/ an invest in the game imo
TA can get two clears at most or one guilty at most

and uhhh MD/VC can help w rolehunting a little bit

loyal jk seems like an interesting role in that it can protect at the expense of a clear and can't really be used as an invest unless they hit fakeclaiming scum and scum fakes a result

(i feel like the simple doctor would be better over macho modifier considering mailman is also clearable on setup spec and macho modifier indirectly clears the doctor claim and that'd be two clears and an invest; however, if that's not too unbalanced then i'd be down for the macho modifier on the TA)
i think i dig the mafia MD as they're able to PR hunt and hunt for investigative targets but not know which is which

thats like 1 clear (1-shot loyal neighborizer may or may not be mislynchable ?? likeeee i mislynched CJ as one but saudade managed to last a whileee in my large normal)
and MD has a little more entropy/wiggle room for scum than tracker esp w the visitor (but is also less lynchable just based on the existence of the visitor...)

loyal neighborizer loses the communication advantage w/ daytalk disabled and cant even talk to their clear until n2 but still has that clear at least

Be nice. It's a game.

General:
- Please adhere to the site rules.
- Do not discuss this game of mafia outside of this thread.
- Day phases will last 10 days (or until a lynch is achieved).

I feel like a guilty is less damning than it actually is tho esp w/ the visitor causing more confusion and the potential for a smart fakeclaim if scum gets caught? i feel like it works out to a one-shot cop and a weaker tracker plus some tracker entropy, and cop/tracker is considered balanced against rolecop in newbies so i feel like it works out :P

i managed to convince a p decent town that a one-shot loyal neighborizer could be a multitasking scum neighborizer so i'm not entirelyyyy sure the neighborizer is unlynchable here either but thats just from one experience :p

i also think having a town encryptor mayyyy possibly slight plausible deniability to one of the other encryptors as well !

i feel like there's def some room for scum to wiggle their way out such as "well one of the 'clears' could just be a goon!" or something like that and i could even see town me arriving there tbh

General:

- Day phases will last 10 days (or until a lynch is achieved).

I can definitely see why that shouldn't be ran in the normal queue;

as a side-note my game in the large theme queue has flavor based around the evil NRG led by the nefarious implosion trying to get skyg's game pulled from the normal queue and it's completely unrelated to this review :shifty:
