1. A simple majority of all living players must agree on one person (via voting) for a Lynch to occur (simple majority = ½ # of living players +1, rounded down). If no one has a simple majority of votes at deadline a No Lynch will occur.

Setup is normal and close enough to balanced for me to pass it as is but there's a few things in the role PMs that I want to point out.

I would rephrase that since 'Once during the day' and 'Only shoot once per day' is redundant.

I am not quite sure if this is the correct way for universal backups to determine in multiple death nights.

I'll look at the rules and figure out the backup thing later.

The potential for odd-night cop being universal backupped is kind of scary for scum though.

Universal backup adds a lot of swing because of the odds of taking over 1-Shot Dayvig after they've fired vs taking Odd-Night Cop.

Logistically you should clarify how dayvig works (pm to mod presumably as opposed to positing in thread)

Could you talk about why you want scum to have a no against the dayvig? Is this just to nerf it a bit or is it intended to be a strong counter? I'm SOMEWHAT inclined to suggest that you make the dayvig novice as a minor counter instead (scum can shoot him n1 if needed) but want to mull that over.

Also, is the backup across all factions or just town, I.e. Does it potentially inherit the Bp?

I would highly recommend the novice dayvig because day 1 shots are really cancer

To be normal it can only take from own alignment so BP wouldn't trigger.

I think it would be cool to make it Novice so that UB can actually have some purpose with picking that up

I would be fucking pissed if I joined a 'normal' game and was killed before I could influence even 1 lynch.

That is outside of normal to me imo

the role name under the bulletproof spoiler is incorrect.

Also i suggest including the 10:3 nature of the game somewhere in the rules post, since that will be public information, it should be included for those that replace in and not having read the queue thread.

I'll need to relook at other things as well.

I wouldn't put novice with a day modifier.
but that might be my view that multi-shot day vigs shouldn't exist.
although I guess 1-shot novice day vig works for that problem.

I think I'm generally just always confused about whether backups inherit the amount of shots someone has left anyway.

This should also be clarified in their role title, some players may skip the important details if the modifiers aren't included in the title.

I was just trying to nerf it a bit. Figured a low chance that the 1-shot the vig had would hit the scum BP, and after that the BP would be useless. I like making the vig a novice though.

8. This setup is 10 town, 3 mafia.

Spoiler: Activity
1. Aim for one post every 48 hours at a minimum.
2. After 48 hours of no activity, I will prod the inactive player
3. A prodded player has 48 hours to respond to my prod with a
substantive post in game
, after which time a replacement search will begin. I abhor prodging.
4. A player who has been prodded 3 times will be subject to replacement with no further notice
5. If you plan on being inactive for more than 48 hours, PM the Mod to notify you plan on being V/LA.
6. If you plan to have regularly scheduled V/LA period (e.g. the weekend) please PM the mod to notify

1. Days will last 14 days
2. Nights will last 48 hours
3. Extensions may be given out in extreme circumstances, and is up to the discretion of the Mod
4. If you have a role with a Night action, your action is due to the Mod by the posted deadline. If no action is received by the posted deadline, you may forfeit your action(s). Players with a Night action may submit a "No Action" PM to indicate to the Mod you do not wish to perform your action.

Spoiler: Player Rules/Voting
1. A simple majority of all living players must agree on one person (via voting) for a Lynch to occur (simple majority = ½ # of living players +1, rounded down). If no one has a simple majority of votes at deadline a No Lynch will occur.
2. Votes should use Vote Tags or they may not be counted (

3. Unvotes use Unvote Tags or they may not be counted (

). Unvotes are helpful, but not required. I will love you if you use them.

5. Votes/Unvotes should be placed on a line all by themselves to make them easier for everyone to see, or they may not be counted. Do this.
6. Votes in quotes, spoiler tags or otherwise hidden will not be counted.
7. Votes that misspell or have other minor errors will be counted as normal as long as I understand what you are getting at.
8. If it looks like a vote, I will count it as a vote.
9. Once a player has reached a simple majority of votes no further unvoting will change their fate. Tough.
10. When a player is lynched the game enters twilight until the Mod posts a death scene; all players may continue to post.
11. If you are killed (either via lynch or night kill) you may no longer post except for
one
brief “Bah!”-type post that contains that must contain a cute image of a Penguin.

2. I'm perfect, but there may be an appearance of a mistake on occasion. This is intentional. Please PM me privately to address. I will correct any of these intentional mistakes where possible, but there may be situations that I cannot. Sorry. Be at peace knowing those were intentional as well.

4. Rule violations will be dealt with based upon severity - up to a Modkill - at the sole discretion of the Mod
