reading the thread up to this, it's virtually impossible that anyone in their right mind is scumreading mulch, so I actually don't like this very much. transcend may know mulch is the type of player that gets himself in trouble by doing things people dislike when he is wolfread, so I can see a scum motivation behind this push. transcend, what was scummy about mulch up to this post of yours? he reads very towny to me. am I tone deaf?

I don't buy anyone who claims to have a strong read on mulch yet but would happily vote him purely for game meta (and I don't think he's done anything he isn't capable of faking yet, at least that I've seen), and cabd's first reads post is as other people have already pointed out really sketchy.

unrelated to the game, but this reminds me MS does mod communication wrong. it should be 100% done privately and not referenced by players in the game. questions about mechanics etc that should be clear to all players are ofc supposed to be answered in the thread, but even the player that asked the question should be private to avoid any kind of spew.

The initial mulch likely-scum read and the aristophanes locktown read are both crossgame meta. Mulch is I think pretty likely to be handed a scum role PM, given his track record afaik on MS of being repeatedly mislynched as town and repeatedly winning as scum. This is of course not a strong read, but an alright starting point. Aristophanes however is a strong read. I actually cannot imagine his team handing him a scum role PM. He's too infamously easy to read. This is also slightly the basis of the cheetory read, but mostly he just looks like how he always does as town. Transcend will be a bit tougher to enunciate, but a lot of his posting feels not-awkward to me, and I remember it feeling awkward in his scumgame. Some examples are 194 and 196, 259, his overall trajectory on Mulch.

I think an 11 poster asking kagami, who has 14 posts themselves, to discuss a read on mulch, who I think had no votes at that point and isn't getting lynched this gameday - while cabd himself is universally scumread himself - is unnatural. detached is fine, but this kind of detachment where the player is asking things that don't matter and town!nobody cares like a 14 poster's read on a 200 poster, is fake work and requires killing.

I don't believe that's necessarily true. I don't think amrock prefers playing scum as his greatest talent and something he does very passionately in games is solving.
I can also see him preferring to take a coaching position for team mates rather than be the scum himself, and either way this already started as a bad way to scumhunt anyone in this game imo.

I wasn't townreading amrock for the claim, but I started townreading him when he immediately dropped the claim as my initial reaction would make it difficult for the mafia team to believe us. he could have played it along with me when I was receptive to it, which would actually fit a more scum motivated mason claim, trying to hide himself behind a fake claim with a towny player that's generally gonna be read as very villagery and thread captain a lynch in his best days. not taking that opportunity shows town motivation.

I've felt like most of Mulch and Transcend's direct interactions have been really not that deep throwing shade at each other. I don't remember Mulch giving any reasons to scumread transcend that felt particularly deeply evaluative but i may easily be missing something in the deluge.

he has actually gone back and forth on transcend a fair amount throughout those interactions. I also feel his scumread on transcend makes sense because transcend's push on mulch is too strong for the little transcend has presented as reasons, and the 'reaction test' with calling me scum and then pushing mulch for not immediately acting out on it is cringe level scummy if you ask me. have you actually read that push?

Anyone who strongly thinks Kagami is town has until I get home in a couple hours to convince me not to join the wagon bc the only reason I remember anyone saying is liking their entrance and I remember finding it mediocre.

I just read kagami's ISO and came out of it with the impression that they're town. I do like their entrance push on spiffeh and I like all of their posts re: mulch in the sense of those being genuine thoughts and kagami believing the push. i'm a little disappointed my question in 1860 wasn't answered.
in 1321, Kagami said they had me confident town, but has gotten more waffly now. i don't really see why they feel this way or evidence of trying to correct it, and it's just vague.
yes, the part that stood out to me is the read involving Chara, surprising no one.
